Everything about our stay here was perfect, especially the view of the beach. I'd highly recommend it.

We enjoyed our stay at Dillon Beach! It was a great getaway in a remote town. We loved running on the beach and exploring Northern California. The view from the house was beautiful and overall it was a very relaxing stay. We had everything we needed including laundry and an espresso machine well stocked with tons of coffee. Definitely buy your groceries before getting close and don’t plan on eating out much. Host didn’t respond right away but thankfully everything was smooth enough that this didn’t impact our stay.

The house is nicely located just up from the beach with a great view of Dillon Beach. We brought our 2 pups and the house worked out great for all of our comfort. Lots of games and puzzles for indoor time as well as fully stocked kitchen with most things u might want or need. The yard is overgrown making it a little challenging for potty time for the pups but totally fenced in and private. Will stay again!

It is a great property and a great location. We loved being able to walk to the beach each day .

This is a repeat visit to this home. Many improvements have taken place with the furniture and upkeep to the inside of the property. Has in the other vacations? At this property, it was highly cleaned and ready upon our arrival. Who couldn't appreciate the beautiful views from the upstairs and patio. This property is top rated stay for the Dillion beach area.

Needs a place to take off shoes. Bedroom has no place to put anything. Otherwise very well equipped

We had another amazing week stay here at this beautiful cottage in Dillons Beach with a breathtaking view of the water!! Our puppy French Bulldog enjoyed his stay also and the morning walks with “Daddy” were superb. Spent the day with our oldest sons family at the RV site at Lawson’s Landing & crabbing was fantastic!! Thank you again Joy for your hospitality!!

Dill'n Thyme is a delightful cottage to stay in. It is an easy 1-1/2 to 2 block walk downhill to the actual Dillon Beach (DB). DB is great for many reasons: it is expansive, one can walk forever. It has sand, surf, dunes, rocks for waves to crash over, is very dog friendly, has onsite restrooms, and much more. We enjoyed watching the Pelicans cruising over the water, people "kite sailing", surfers, grand sunsets and sunrises. The cottage is very well equipped with amenities, including a fully stocked kitchen (even some herbs & spices!). There are great views of the beach, the surf, the Bay, and the horizon, from the living/dining area and from the deck. We made a day trip to Limantour Beach - another big looooong coastal beach. We would love to visit DB again and will definitely want to stay again at Dill 'n Thyme cottage. We met numerous neighbors & residents as we walked to/from the beach and just around the neighborhood - all of whom were welcoming, delightful, friendly, and helpful if we had any questions. We highly recommend this property and the area in general!

CONS: 1) told in welcome message we may have uninvited houseguests and that ant spray could be found under the kitchen sink, making light of the fact that there could be ants. Huh?! We did not come on vacation to battle ants but that’s exactly what transpired, So much so we disappointedly left a day early. We thought it was just the kitchen and piled everything onto the dining room table after spraying. Nope, ants ended up being everywhere. Upstairs, downstairs, our belongings, even on ourselves while watching tv! Completely disgusting. We put food in fridge and microwave and everything else back in the car, so crazy. 2) pics are not accurate. Deck and picnic table are very old. Nails are coming up so watch where you walk. Lights going around the cobweb railing don’t work w/a few actually broken off. Everything out there needs a good sanding and sealant. 3) upstairs multiple windows don’t open and there are no screens on the two sliding glass doors up and downstairs, very irritating. 4) fenced area out back for pets (we brought our two 10 year old labs) is nothing but a dirt pit, just horrible. 5) outdoor hot water shower? Not that we could find. Maybe the dilapidated hose out front w/leaky faucet that spays everywhere? No clue. 6) broken dining room chair, broken coffee table. Some furnishings dated, duvet and sheets in master are very old and worn. Couch and chairs aren’t very comfortable for watching an entire movie. PROS: view, location, shower, washer dryer.

Wonderfully peaceful! Everyone, including our little dog, enjoyed their stay.

This house is lovely, beautifully decorated, lots of plates, utensils. etc. The location and the view are magnificent. BIG PROBLEM - infested with ants not only in the kitchen but the downstairs bedrooms, especially the master bedroom. We are still dealing these ants brought home to our daughter’s apartment in our luggage. We had seen other recent complaints and so brought ant traps with us, but I believe a fumigation may be necessary. We could not spray every surface in the house every few hours. This is such a lovely place, but ants everywhere on our clothes, in the beds, on any counter where, for instance, a bottle cap was left, was over the top.

Have been coming here for years and it is the best home in this area in my opinion. Wonderful view from the deck and full comfortable accommodations. Pleasure to stay here.

We did not lack for anything. It was perfect. We came for my brothers 70th birthday party on the beach and it was an easy walk to the beach. Only downside......a lot of ants.

We had a great time, perfect location, easy to navigate! Really enjoyed our weekend away!

This property is competitively priced and exactly what we needed for two adults and one child. The deck has a great view of the ocean and it’s a short walk to the beach. The kitchen had everything we needed as well. I would certainly stay here again. Even better bonus that it is a pet friendly property with a small backyard space where small dogs are secure.

My husband and I have stayed in Dillon Beach many times. We agree this property is the best one we have stayed at thus far. It was very clean and comfortable with a great beachy vibe. It is a cottage - not spacious but just right for us. We spent many hours on the deck taking in the beautiful view. Highly recommend.

Cute "beachy" decor. BUT broken kitchen chairs, coffee table falls over, outdoor string lights cut. Worse than all that, the house is infested with ANTS. We kept ALL food in fridge.

Quaint and cozy house located in a perfect location. Make sure to stop at a store on your way. Petaluma is a good stop to do that. Not any grocery stores in the area. Small market, but not many options. Beach is walking distance. Joy was great and quickly responsive when I had a question about the Wi-Fi. Amazing views of the ocean. Thank you Joy!

We had a great getaway and enjoyed the house so much. It was clean, comfortable, and the kitchen was fully stocked with pots and pans, and appliances. The ocean views were amazing. We sat on the deck and enjoyed a glass of wine and watched people wind surf. We will definitely be back!

Great location in Dillon Beach. House had everything we needed and was able to bring the pups. Quiet neighborhood and a short walk to the beach.

We loved this sweet cottage. It provided everything we needed. The kitchen was well-stocked. We loved sitting in the living room and watching the ocean and listening to the waves. Beds were extremely comfortable. 12pm check out was so nice!

We have stayed at Dill n Thyme numerous times. It fits our needs extremely well. We take our doberman with us.... she loves walking down to the beach. It's great to have a fenced in yard for nighttime potty breaks, and there were no weeds this visit!! Kitchen is fully stocked, bed is comfy, water view is wonderful. Perfect. Thank you, Joy.

Yearly trip to Dylan's Beach with the grandkids. By far the best VRBO we have stayed at in the last 3 years. Clean, close to the beach, had everything we needed in a cozy little space. Definitely will stay next year and hopefully years to come.

Could have been cleaner. Enjoyed the deck! Everything adequate.

1. There is no indication in the listing or photos that the stairway to the lower level is very curved and narrow and not easy to navigate while carrying luggage. 2. The bedrooms are much smaller than the photos show, with no dresser/storage space for clothing. 3. There had been a leak in the roof and the wall and a photo frame had not been cleaned. 5. The smoke alarm was hanging from the ceiling. 6. The coffee maker was filthy and does not work properly, does not heat up the water. 7. The string of lights on the patio has several broken lights that are sharp and dangerous. 8. The charcoal grill's grate is rusty and unusable. 9. The windows are very dirty. I tried to clean one but could not reach well enough. We had a lovely time at your VRBO despite the frustrations we experienced with the coffee maker and grill. However, you owe it to the good people who rent your property to keep it clean and safe, don't you agree? I took photos of the above items and would like to send them to you, as I understand from you that you rarely see your own property, as you've been struggling with cancer. I am thrilled for you that your chemotherapy is finished and you're own the road to recovery. The photo you sent shows your joy to be with your family and you look beautiful!

We go to Dillon every year. The kids loved the house and the views.

First time at DillNThyme It was so clean and welcoming. Great appliances including dishwasher and washer and dryer. Kitchen stocked with with many utensils It was dog friendly which made me very happy I liked everything about the property and can’t wait to return with my cousin for our annual birthday trip Joy was very accommodating II am so happy to have found this property
