There's nothing good to like

It's nowhere as advertised. Not sure how they got a rating of 8.1.I paid for 7 nights and only stayed for 1 night. Toilet had a bad smell that they had to change us to a different room. The place is a mosquitoes breeding ground. The surrounding is so noisy and congested with traffic that you can hardly find space to stop to get into and off your car. Didn't get back any refund from the hotel. My advice will be please don't pay them fully if you want to book the hotel as they will send you a message asking for payment to confirm your booking. Booking.com should take some responsibility by reviewing the pictures of the hotel every year as the hotels mislead the public. I wish I had taken pictures of how congested and crowded the place was.

The room had a balcony facing the street. That was good.

At the time of check in they had lot of questions and we felt like we were criminals. They apply their Islamic religious beliefs upon us and they don't allow alcoholic drinks in room. We felt sorry for booking a room there. The hotel is situated just opposite to a mosque and too much sound is coming to room from their high sounded more than 10 horns. It will definitely disturb your sleep.

Balcony rooms are very nice. In general, rooms are good. A bit more space for table, chair would have been great. Staff is nice. Lift available. There is a good restaurant. Not too far from central station.

It's a very good hotel with great staff who were always helpful. Clean room and lots of hot water. You will not get much better around here. I gave it 9 because the location can be a little noisy but then we are in a city and it's India. Easy access to and from the metro central. It's a 5 minute walk along the main road. Turn right out of the hotel and right along the main road. It's about 400m on the opposite side of the road near the big white building. The main train station is not far away. Easy walk along the narrow street opposite the junction or 50 rupees in a yellow puk puk. The food at the restaurant is very good.

I have taken 2 rooms for 4 Adults and 2 kids. The moment we entered the room the first thing we found was a lizard. The room didn't smell hygienic as well. The room size is really small and cramped. The toilets suck. The pressure of the taps is very thin and horrible. It will take atleast 20 mins to fill a bucket. The AC was dripping drops of water through out. There was no kettle in the room, when asked they provided, that too it didn't work. The complimentary breakfast is again a Big Joke, they handed over a packed box of 3 items. With the extra cost they charged for breakfast inclusion, I could have had a lavish buffet at any up-market restaurant. By spending an extra 4k and willing to travel an extra 3kms, I would have happily stayed at Ibis. Finally, I paid a good amount of Money (Rs. 14k) to stay at a tiny lodge with an adjoining kitchen garbed as a hotel. I remember an old saying "All that glitters is not gold". I just got carried away by fanciful photography. Overall rating will not exceed more than 1.5, that too for the staff. Don't be fooled by the 3 Rating, i don't know why Bookkng.com is giving a 3 Rating for my review.
