We had a wonderful stay at Kaikōura Peaks eMotel. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, with a stunning view of the snowy mountains. We enjoyed the peaceful and relaxing environment, and the friendly and helpful staff. We loved it so much that we decided to stay another night.

It was tidy, relatively clean. Bed was comfortable if you like a soft bed.

Windows could have had a clean to view the mountains. Shower had grime forming where the door slides. The bathroom was extremely cold and would benefit with an extractor fan / wall heater / heater towel rail. Lounge area really needs a ceiling fan to disperse heat down as the heat pump was not heating the room even on high. Kitchen could use a potato peeler. Would have been nice to have a change of towels as stayed 3 nights.

Because of a lack of traffic, It was quiet. The bed was very comfortable but that was about it.

The room was cold. The shower had very low pressure. Window sills had grime on them. Internet was very poor.

Netflix is a nice surprise for the kids. A spacious 2-br-apartment

1. Shower water current can be a bit more bigger 2. Two rooms but only 1 heater, 1 more will be great. 3. Lighter didn’t work so couldn’t get the oven to work. 4. Our room is next to the main road so there was occasional noises when car passing by. Winter is low season so not a big issue but could be worse during summer. 5. In the small room the power sockets are hidden behind the wall, making it difficult to have phones next to the bed while being charged during night. 6. The table game is missing pieces, better get a replacement.

I had a great stay here. The bed is very comfy. The kitchen is packed with everything you need. The bathroom is modern and was clean. Definitely worth a stay.

Great property, easy contactless check in and out. Well appointed, modern and clean with a large bathroom that has a fantastic shower. Highly recommend.

The room was beautiful, the bathroom was modern, stylish and clean. It was a well layed out space.

There was nothing to dislike.

Everything about the accommodation was of a high standard. The bed was cosy and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped with utensils, oil, teas and also impressed there was a first aid kit. The bathroom was clean and lovely.

I couldn’t work the tv- but also I’m technically challenged, so prob my fault!

I didn’t particularly like that the window looked straight out to the parked cars and other eMotel guests, just meant that we had to keep our curtains closed majority of the time for proper privacy.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The Motel is super clean and comfortable. Will highly recommend.

Self Checkin - No personal interaction with any staff except in Emergency. Only a code given by email to unlock your studio.

A large comfortable room with unique decor. There’s a couch, coffee table, & a round glass top table with chairs. Bathroom was also modern & decent size.

The road sign is small & hard to see in the dark.

Really nicely styled motel rooms, made for a comfortable stay. Comfy bed, clean, modern spacious bathroom. Enjoyed the chairs and table out the front, which has a view of the mountains.

Cute and comfortable cottage, well equipped kitchen, helpful instructions from staff made it easy for self-checkin. It's at the north end of town so a bit farther from town center, but more peaceful and less touristy as well.

Not a complaint, but the view looking at the carport was less than charming. But we propped a blanket on chairs to block that part (and add privacy) and enjoyed the "Kaikoura Peaks" views in the distance.
