Absolutely loved the Liten Hus! Would definitely stay here again!

This was the perfect little gem of a place for our getaway weekend. The little personal touches all throughout the property were absolutely delightful and made our stay feel like a weekend with family and friends! From the soft, welcoming lighting all throughout the home (dimmable chandelier lighting in the bedroom and bathroom, little tea lights, soft warm glow from lighted decorative stems, even a beautiful antique lantern!) to the beautiful color scheme and all the beautiful finishes throughout the home everything was just perfectly perfect!! The bedroom was like a cozy little nest to cuddle up in on the super comfy bed and just relax. We never wanted to leave. Access instructions were super helpful and easy to follow, and use of the private garage bay was an added luxury we hadn't expected. All on a serene, quiet and perfectly adorable street located so close to the beautiful Lake Nakomis and surrounding attractions, lots of restaurant choices and easy access to downtown. The house was fully stocked with anything and everything you could ever want or need (freshly ground coffee, tea, toiletries for use in the bathroom, fully stocked kitchen, kcup pods...the host even had a first aid kit in the bathroom!). We felt right at home our entire stay never wanting for anything because it was all provided for us. Will absolutely stay here again on our next visit to the beautiful state of MN!

My wife and I enjoyed the time at Liten Hus very much. It is clean, comfortable and very well equipped and furnished. The host is supremely attentive and accommodating. Communications were excellent. We couldn't have been more pleased.

The house is perfectly located in South Minneapolis: close to the lakes, nearby restaurants and a short drive from many attractions. The house itself is cozy and Carolyn has added all the extra touches that make a guest feel at home.

The owner feels we violated her no “party” agreement, but I don’t feel we did. The agreement allowed us to have people over, which we did for 2 hours. We had a couple of family members over for lunch. She also seems to think we had more then two people sleeping in the home, which we did not. After the family left two family member stayed until we went to dinner, which makes four of us hanging out until dinner. Did the house need someone extra cleaning with the floors maybe, but she makes it sound like we had a rager in her home, which never happened. Not one item in the home was damaged or broken. We checked out at check out time when we were required to, no neighbors complained about us, and we followed direction according to her regrious check out plan. If you feel taking my whole deposit for having a few family members over for a lunch then fine but please don’t assume anything you don’t know about. The appropriate thing to have done was reached out to me directly not assume there was some out of hand party happening when everyone was around 40 years old who came or older- we are taking parents and grandparents.

The reviews are accurate! This property is fantastic. Comfortable bed, nice amenities, extra towels, great location and super clean. The lighting is extraordinary, design phenomenal, and it’s fun and easy just to hang out, as there is an outside porch along with great Internet and cable options. Walk to restaurants, store and wine shop! I want to come back 😀

Liten Hus was everything in the pictures!! The home is dreamy, quiet, and super clean and comfortable! It had everything we needed and more! Carolyn is a 10 star host! Responds quickly, has the best binder about the home, local attractions and brochures! I would definitely rent the sweet little home again! Thank you Carolyn!!

My daughter and I enjoyed our stay. The house was spotless, comfortable and quiet. The house is perfect for a couple or a small family.

Had a great weekend, very clean and well maintained! It was nice to have a garage stall to park in with inclimate weather. Carolyn knows how to be a great host and always very responsive. The place was a little smaller than had anticipated.

Carolyn was such an attentive host and went above and beyond to make the stay comfortable. The house is so cozy and inviting. Will definitely go back again. Highly recommend!
