Really enjoyed our stay, the staff were helpful rooms small but clean and had everything we needed. Pool area was better than expected, and the bar was relaxing, couldn't fault the breakfast. We had a great time except for one problem .
What we didn't like.
Unfortunately three times in the night and early hours (3 am)we were woken up by alarms going off no expectations, didn't know if we should stay in room and ignore or run for our lives, I don't sleep well at best of times ,so I did find this annoying, but I'm sure it doesn't happen often so I would return, cos the good things outwayed the bad.

It is just a lovely hotel with the type of facilities we needed for a business trip. The swimming pool and spa were great. Beds large and comfortable. A very good night sleep

Swimming pool, food is very good - both breakfast and dinner
The mattresses are incredibly soft and uncomfortable. We have stayed in a few different rooms now and they are all similar. We haven’t slept well whenever we’ve stayed - but we love everything else. Because of this we’ve stayed more often at the premier inn recently as the beds are more comfortable!!

We had a nice room, spa and pool were of a good standard. Breakfast was great value for money and we also had a very good quality meal in the restaurant.
Staff were friendly and got the job done in a relaxing manner.

When you want to relax, noisy children allowed in the spa swimming pool for too long don’t help. Should have set hours for kids.

Dinner was outstanding and the staff were very friendly. We used the swimming pool and spa facilities which were nice.
The hot tub was out of service.

the golf course was very wet, basically unplayable but we weren’t told about this until we arrived. also golf buggies were not allowed and again we weren’t informed prior to arrival. as this was strictly a golf trip this was unacceptable.

The room was spacious and the spa area very well equipped.
The bed was a little hard for my husband's taste but I found it comfortable. The seats in the foyer were near to the door so there was a draught.

99% of the staff were welcoming and friendly. place is very clean. OK size swimming pool for morning swims.
dining table for 2 by the tree was way too close to the other tables, elbows virtually touching the other guests on the next table. couldn’t have a conversation without the tables each side hearing every word.
