The road climbs ito the trees from a valley filled with cows. There were planned burns adding puffs of smoke to the area at sunset. The sun obscured by the clouds of the recent snow. Then, we exit the car to a view that couldn't be more pristine. We enter the house through the garage, kick off our shoes to the heated floor, pour a glass of wine, and relaxe to the view through huge glass doors. Oops, maybe we should empty the car. After settling in, we prepped and ate a nice dinner. The house has quality pots, pans, and cooking utensils. We wrapped up the first day in the hot tube watching the glow of the planned burns across the way. We enjoyed 5 more days of the same relaxation. Note, there is 4G service and solid wifi if you need to connect to the world. We will be back. Great location and hosts.

Fully equipped clean accommodations tastefully designed and furnished. Interesting book selection. Pleasant views of nearby ranch. Lovely hearing the Elk and coyote go off after sunset.

This property is absolutely fantastic! The location is out of the way in the foothills of New Meadows but close enough to town and over to McCall. The sunsets were incredible with chirping birds and chipmunks along with a deer sighting or two. The house is perfect and just as the pictures show - super clean, well decorated and cozy. Amenities a plenty, including an air compressor for a flat tire fix on our UTV :) !!! Looking forward to our next time in New Meadows! Thanks

This property was everything we were looking for! Our family really enjoyed all the cabin had to offer! The view of the patio couldn't get any better! Property was very clean and will maintained. We are already looking for another time to book!

We were looking for a winter get away and this property was perfect. The house is so cozy with such great details in each room to help you relax and soak in the quiet soundings. The owners were available for any questions and made sure everything was smooth during our stay. The scenery is breathtaking and the area is perfectly quiet. We can't wait to stay again, whatever the season!

My husband and I spent a week here for our anniversary and it was amazing! The furnishings and decor were spot on and comfortable. We couldn’t get over how beautiful the view was and the large glass doors really make the most of it. The hot tub was the perfect way to wind down at sunset or for stargazing at night. The stacks and stacks of plush towels made each shower a spa experience. And that bed. Incredible! It was like sleeping in a cloud of fluffiness. We never slept so good. The whole trip was wonderful! We even had a fox come for a visit - right up to the door! We would LOVE to come back and stay again soon.

Super cozy and quiet retreat for us. It had everything you need and more. We enjoyed the seclusion and peacefulness of the property. We will be back.

This property is by far one of the cleanest properties I have ever stayed at. I really have issues with paying rather substantial cleaning fees only to arrive at a property and find and the property isn’t “clean” that is not the case with this property it was super clean. In addition, there was everything needed to hang out and enjoy a long weekend. We arrived on Thursday evening and didn’t leave until Sunday. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook all our meals. I even made zucchini bread, there was a hand mixer and baking dishes. I did a lot of cooking and found everything I looked for. I also have an issue with places that don’t have a pitcher for making juice there was a pitcher at New Meadows. The basics were provided. Oils, spices, and coffee with a very cute pour over coffee maker a dream kitchen in a vacation property. The description and photos on the VRBO site are extremely accurate. Towels and bed linens high quality. There are plenty of clean fluffy towels in the bathroom, hot tub and dog towels are also provided. The kitchen also has plenty of dish towels. My husband enjoyed the hot tub while I enjoyed the quiet so I could and read and do some research. There was always something to see. One morning wild turkeys in the driveway another afternoon I was just sitting outside enjoying the warm weather and quiet and spotted a bear wandering in the distance. Deer in the yard and a variety of birds and a little chipmunk that drove my dog crazy. Speaking of dogs, we did love the dog tie out. It was nice to have Boots outside with us and she could wander a bit without getting into trouble. The view is great and if you get up super early in the morning (6 am one morning) the stars are amazing. The gas fire pit was also a big hit with us. We like to sit out in the evening and enjoy a cocktail and the fire pit helped take the chill off. I am one of those people who asks lots of questions and Lisa was quick to answer them all. We stay at a lot of vacation rentals and this house is one of my top 3. We are looking forward to a return stay. Oh yea I really enjoyed the bottle of champagne.

We arrived Friday ready to relax. Oh my, what a view and setting. The cabin is perfectly decorated to make you feel like you are in a luxury cabin. Everything you need is there. We had a couple of questions when we arrived and the owner communicated with us by text immediately. The setting is fantastic. You can't see cabins around you and can't hear cars or people. We heard an occasional jet at 30,000 feet and coyotes in the distance. We booked our next stay the day we arrived.

We had such a peaceful five nights at this cabin hideaway! Excellent views and the property / cabin is very well maintained, clean and appointed with everything we needed. We loved the sunsets, wildlife, stargazing and spa time! Owners were very responsive and gave great recommendations during our fun and relaxing getaway in Idaho!

We really enjoyed our stay in August 2021. We were able to relax and unwind on the property. The view from the patio and main living area offered great scenery and sunsets. We took advantage of the fully stocked kitchen and cooked several meals. The hot tub was relaxing and sparkling clean.

This is our second year in a row to stay at this property. It feels more like a home than a rental. Everything in this air conditioned home is made of quality and high end furnishings. There is literally not a single neighbor in sight of the home. Also, do not let the one bedroom fool you. This is a very large house!

My husband and I came up for our 16th anniversary and it was wonderful. It was perfect for the two of us. The view was beautiful the house was comfy and it had everything that we needed. Would go again!

Great place to relax. Private with excellent views of the valley. Did not see anyone while staying. Great hikes close by and short drive to McCall. Great way to experience McCall without dealing with the crowds. Property is exactly as pictured. Owners are fantastic and care about your experience. Would absolutely stay again!

We had a wonderful time. My husband and I needed a quiet relaxing vacation and this was perfect. Close to Mccall and watching the sunsets every night in the most comfortable chairs we've ever sat in was the perfect way to end the day!!

Beautiful views of pine trees and mountains. Home is cozy and very clean. You will want for nothing when you stay here. Highly recommend the hot tub for the chilly evenings or mornings. Lisa was quick to answer any questions. It was an all around wonderful stay and we look forward to our return trip.

Past reviews are spot on, absolutely no surprises. The location is perfect with great views and propane fire pit. Remote location that is quite and without the busy nature of McCall but close enough to enjoy the skiing daily. We already booked a return trip for the summer.

This place is lovely, the owners took such care with every detail. It truly feels like a home. We were kindly hosted! We loved our stay at this property. It is perfect for a small family or couple and our fur child absolutely loved it. The home is tucked in the woods and is calm and peaceful. We spent the days lounging, doing puzzles, and enjoying the hot tub. We had great excursions snowshoeing, and skiing at Brundage. McCall is an adorable town - and only a short drive away to stock up on essentials. Thank you for sharing this fantastic property!

We were so happy with our stay at the cabin! Immediately on checking in, we had quick and clear communication with Lisa and Tom. The cabin itself was in a beautiful location, halfway up a mountain in a secluded but private neighborhood. Felt far enough for privacy but close enough that we weren't completely isolated. The details in the cabin were also spot on. So cozy and well equipped with everything you could think of for a relaxing stay. We would love to come back again!

Beautiful view, peaceful and quiet. Feels like you are far away from civilization, yet quite convenient to town and McCall area. If we had to find something to complain about, it would be to consider a new mattress (It's very soft and sinks deeply in the middle). Had everything we needed to relax and get away from it all. I’ve stayed in numerous rentals and this particular one is extremely well stocked with quality everything. From the cutlery to the crystal we felt as if we were staying in someone’s home. If your wanting a place close to town, but far enough out to hear nothing but the whispering pines and gaze at countless stars....this is the place!

We had a wonderful relaxing stay. Lovely cabin isolated in the woods with a beautiful view. Enjoyed the art and antiques. You can tell the owners put a lot of time and thought into creating a fun and comfortable space. The owners are very responsive and happy to help you have a great stay.

Found this great place for a birthday weekend getaway for my boyfriend & I. The reviews don’t lie!! This truly is a 5-star retreat. Everything within the home pays so much attention to detail. The owners take great care of it! The other part that sold us was the VIEW!! The hot tub, fire pit, lounge chairs, kitchen & big leather recliners all allow you to sit back & relax & take it all in. We can’t wait to plan our next visit!

What an awesome property! Sooooo peaceful. Sitting in the hotub, looking out on the gorgeous mountain top to the vista below was just perfect. House was clean, comfortable and adorable! Plenty of towels and blankets, even beach blankets for the hotub. Lisa, the owner, was fantastic and gave some awesome recommendations for eats in town. Our dog loved playing fetch in the backyard . It truly is a mountain home retreat. Thank you, Lisa!!! Highly recommend!
