We came to bike all the bike trails, therefore it was the location.
We really enjoyed our stay

We stayed in a one bedroom apartment which was very spacious, clean and comfortable.
Was great to have cooking facilities and a washer/dryer to use. The spa bath was also an added bonus.
Unfortunately, the room we were in overlooked a new carpark being built so we missed out on the view, but other than that, everything was great.

Loved being able to view the ocean, even though it was a small part of it from the side
Had a bit of trouble getting the heatpump to work as it took about 5 minutes before it started up

Room size really surprised us. Excellent.
Could not access gym freely. A key from property manager was required and only at restricted times. Very odd.

Great location, spacious and clean.
The step into/out of the spa/bath/shower was a bit of a death trap. There is a warning but don’t get that room if you have any mobility issues. It’s a very big step out, and both the floor and bath are slippery.

Good location. Parking underground. Decent kitchen facilities.
Washer dryer machine is hard to use. We found it hard to dry clothes. Reception unattended in the evening. Second bed is the pullout sofa but seems to come with a $25 per night charge usually. This wasn't charged to us after we mentioned that we booked as 2 adults and 2 children.

The location was supposed to be good, but due to the event, the roads around it were closed and it was (music-like) loud until 11:30.
The underground car parking was not the best experience. It was hard for a medium size SUV to maneuver.

Kids sofa beds was no good
Babbling and moving too much
Kids not happy but understand sofa bed was part of the deal. Some sofa beds are better quality than this hotel.

Property is very centrally located in Tauranga and handy for public transport. The room was very, very spacious. and clean and the bed was comfortable
the view from our room was looking out into a carpark building that was under construction. this was not a big issue for us as we were only there for a wedding and not the sight seeing.

The location was nice & close to the Strand.
The set up of the unit was a bit unusual becos of its shape obviously. Not great for TV viewing & TV was too small. The one in the bedroom didn't have reception & was very small. The sofa was too far away from lounge TV & in an odd spot but once again the shape of the apartment was unusual.

The Wi-Fi system is terrible and keeps dropping off and is very slow. Difficult to do business.
