Big 3 bedroom apartment with a beautiful view. Beds were really comfortable. It’s in a great location that’s very central to a lot of eateries and Woolies, as well as not too far from Sunshine Plaza. We stayed at this hotel also for its location not being too far away from a soccer field that was hosting a carnival our son was attending and it was definitely ideal in that aspect as well. Kids enjoyed going down to the heated pool and fishing off the jetty at the end of the day.
There wasn’t a great amount of supplies for a family of 6 staying for 4 nights in a 3 bedroom apartment which was a real shame. We needed to go and buy supplies pretty quickly; extra bin liners, dish cloths, dish washing liquid, washing liquid the morning after check in as we were either given either one or none of these items. We did have an unexpected early wake up call from a resident of the hotel playing extremely loud music at 3am on our first evening directly below us. However management were quick to sort this the next day and we then didn’t have an issue the rest of our stay. The bathrooms and carpets had a little more wear and tear then I was expecting but everything was still tidy enough and in working order, just a little older then I had pictured.

The view and location
The fact that we were woken up both nights by drunk people screaming and shouting from the Duporth Tavern??? 708 the apartment we stayed in looked nothing like what was advertised??? The beds, bedding and pillows are the worst we have ever slept on. Kitchen utensils, pots and pans are old and need to be replaced.
Truly a terrible experience and will not return.

Duporth Riverside was exceptional, far exceeding our expectations. The managers were friendly and helpful, our dryer didn't work during our stay, they immediately tried to mend it and when they couldn't offered us the use of the laundry. The pool was wonderful, it was so good to have a full sized one in which to swim lengths. The gym had everything you need, obviously designed by someone who uses a gym regularly. The apartment was large, light and airy with a very large balcony, unfortunately the sun was high so it didn't get much sun. The bed and bedroom were really comfortable with an excellent bath and sh. Our view was amazing and only a short walk to bars, restaurants, supermarkets and the beach. Perfect and very good value for money.

The only issue was that the air conditioning unit was extremely loud and when it kicked in it would wake me up continuously. At night we had to turn it off. The pool spa was too cool..
