Great place to stay for durdle door Lulworth cove and other attractions. Pub staff very friendly & attentive.

Lovely pub with good accommodation, food good with lovely staff - could do with a little refurbish to get to 5 stars, would definitely go back.

Food is superb, wide choice of drinks, car park for residents, friendly staff, clean, bespoke and a great location for exploring by car or foot. Less than one mile to Lulworth Cove and associated facilties. We will go back.

We enjoyed a very enjoyable 2 night midweek stay, we were warmly welcomed by Ian, who along with his staff ensured a pleasant stay. Castle inn is the perfect accommodation for a short trip to explore the stunning fishing village and countryside. We had excellent food, beer and the room was tastefully decorated. staff very friendly and chatty if you want to converse. we loved our stay and will definitely return one day.

We stayed for Camp Bestival and it was great to come back to a clean comfortable room to sleep. The staff was very helpfuland nice. Breakfast was good.

We stayed during a wedding weekend in Lulworth Castle. Everyone went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable

Stay away. We never felt welcome. Room was nice, but that is also all. We felt we were a necessary evil. Don’t come before 3 p.m.: “come again at 3 p.m.” despite we are gold members entitled to early check in IF the room is ready, but they did not even check, and don’t ask for breakfast before 8 a.m., which is too late for guests on the go. “Come again at 8 a.m.” – You cannot have a table in the restaurant even if booked 12 hours ahead: “others booked months ahead” (nonsene) - Food is ordinary. Room 4 is very noicy. We use another hotel next time we are on business in the area. Jens Jakobsen

very interesting old pub. Good room though very small - no desk or chair. Good bathroom. Good menu. Easy parking.

Interesting and different od pub. Room too small to have a chair or table to use computer on. So had to spend hours in the bar: nice but dont like holding down a table without imbibing. Bathroom terrific and bed comfortable. Heating works fine. Free bottle of wine was limited to Proseco and none visible in the small fridge. Excellent menu and service.

We spent a night at Castle Inn during our long weekend trip to the Jurassic Coast. We travel frequently and this was, by far, the best and most comfortable stay we've had in many years. The staff are outstanding. We found everyone to be friendly, helpful, and warm. Our room "Mupe Bay" was very comfortable, beautifully decorated and had an excellent shower. My wife loved the essential oil toiletries. We had a lovely dinner after arrival and a fantastic breakfast the next morning, which provided much-needed fuel for a long day of fossil hunting. 10 for 10, we recommend a stay here to anyone and we will book with Castle Inn again when we're in the area.

Great location with private parking and easy walk to Lulworth. Food was excellent and staff were all lovely. We hope to return.
