The staff was great, specially at breakfast and breakfast was really good. The location was good, although everything is close by in Essaouira.

It is hard to say when the staff is nice but fairness is most important: it was loud like hell with seagulls on top of all roofs in the Medina (yes, big noise at night as well, non-stop) and windows are not soundproof (there are no windows as such). We hardly slept the two days, 2 adults and 3 kids that sleep anywhere.

The location was great and the staff were kind and helpful. The breakfast included was fantastic! The bathroom was spacious and the tiles were very nice.

I found the room to be very dark and the windows and doors painted black made it feel darker.

The riad was in the perfect location in the medina. The building and rooms are beautifully decorated and inviting. The beds were comfortable and the shower was hot. The breakfast was the perfect start to our day. Essaouira is a beautiful place and we loved our stay.

The upper loft in our room, Room 5, felt a little dangerous with the steep stairs and very low railing. The bathroom was quite tight and the shower is not separate so everything gets wet. There was only a tiny bar of soap provided. Other rooms were much nicer, we loved the hotel just wish we had booked a room with a different layout.

There was no privacy, the lighting in rhe room was very bad, the pricing does not match the facilities, facilities are very basic. Ot has a cultural feel to it however I feel it is not suitable for a holiday with the wife. We didn't feel secure and therefore always had the pressure of the safety of our belongings. The images on booking.com turned out to be very deceiving as the rooms were very small

Check in was good, staff was very helpful and informative and accommodating with requests. The breakfast was good and rooms was very well decorated. Located in the heart of the city itself, main sight seeing places are a short walk away! 100% recommend!

The breakfast was simplistic and decent – enough to keep the you going throughout the first hours of the day. The location is magnificent, however, every traveller needs to keep in mind the wind and that it' not that warm. The room was cosy, but it needs a little improvement. For the summertime perfect place to be if you are seeking for a good price and quality value.

Staying at Riad Beldy made a great trip perfect! All of the staff (receptionists, cook and cleaning ladies) were genuinely hospitable, friendly, kind and super helpful.  Our cozy room was gorgeous - very comfortable, warm beds and constant hot water with good shower pressure.  Housekeeping was daily with clean bedlinen and towels regularly supplied.  Breakfast time was relaxed and delicious... freshly baked bread, olives, cheese, jams and the best coffee and orange juice in town - plus the divine daytime complimentary mint tea was an unexpected bonus!  We are vegetarian and enjoyed some delicious veggie evening meals (always prepared and served with love) and heard lots of compliments about their fish dishes too.  The Riad Beldy is centrally located with panoramic views from the beautiful rooftop terrace and everything else on your doorstep… the hustle and bustle of local life, ancient architecture, art galleries, fabulous shops and quirky miniature restaurants.  The stunning beach with quiet sun-lounging cafes, surfing and, at the far end, pristine dunes and camel life, is just a few minutes walk from the hotel.  Overall, I would highly recommend the Riad Beldy and hope to visit again soon!  Many thanks to Jalil and his wonderful team for making us feel so welcome..🙏
