There is a underground fitness room which surpried my daughter and free for guest use.

We lost one of three keys of our room and had to pay 100 mop as penalty.

The staff was great. Very friendly and helpful. Especially Kenneth and Harvey. They are awesome! The location is great as well. 5 minute walk to Senado and there are lots of restaurants nearby. Bus stop nearby as well.

Location - Close proximity to the Ruins of St. Paul's and some of the main attractions. Many eateries nearby. Room - Adequate size for that price. Provides full amenities. L'Occitane range of shampoo & bath gel is definitely a bonus. Staff - Friendly people

Lobby - The reception area and lift consistently have a sewer gas smell which gave a bad first impression. Room - The room has an unpleasant smell too. Initially, we thought the previous guests had some strong-smelling food in the room and it will fade away after a while but unfortunately, the smell was permanent. We could smell it whenever we return and opened the room door. Housekeeping - On arrival day, the room was neat and clean. The next day, the housekeeper only replenished the toiletries. The bed was not made and the floor wasn't cleaned.

The staffs in the reception is super helpful (especially the guy with specs, forgot to get his name). The room and facilities are superb. the environment is clean and comfortable. The book that introduce Macau local travel guide is great, so detailed.

Need some walk to the bus stops and the taxi find it hard to find the lobby (main door)

We had discovered, tried and really enjoyed Caravel Hotel back in Jan 2020 when they had newly opened and just before the pandemic started. Recently, made our first overnight trip back to Macau three years later when the city reopened to quarantine free travel. As luck would have it, our first stay was again at Caravel Hotel on Rua Do Guimaraes on the Macau Peninsula. Very pleased to find that the hotel has changed very little since 2020. Our room felt little used, had a near new hotel feel to it. All furnishing was in very good condition, same with bathroom fixtures. Decor was a mix of nautical and local culture & heritage. Space fine for the room rate. Importantly the bed was comfortable, allowing for quality rest. TV had a couple of English channels, similar to what you find with local broadcast and cable all over Macau. Wifi worked perfectly, room lighting good, shower water pressure just fine. Room has a hair dryer and safe as well. Check-in was fine, staff were friendly and spoke English very well. They have left luggage service if you arrive early or are departing late. Lobby area is a bit small, similar to what you find with 2-3 star properties on the peninsula.

Location is a bit tricky if you are unfamiliar with the streets of Macau. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the Sofitel Ponte 16 Hotel so as long as you can get to that area from the border, ferry terminal or airport and if you have a map printed out they are easy enough to find.

Location is great, i like they have complimentary drinks in lobby. And also can reheat the food.

Friendly staff. Clean, well-equipped room. Smooth easy check-in. Plenty of English instructions around to help you navigate your way in the hotel.

Location is at the small road and not all taxi driver knows the location. But is fine.
