Gorgeous villa in a fab location. Dimos was a fantastic host - gave us a range of groceries and fresh fruit on arrival and delicious cakes! The small village is perfect for having dinner out in the evening - there are a few great tavernas close by - and a small supermarket with everything you need (fresh vegetables, bread and other groceries). The village is only a short walk (less than 10 mins) from the villa. Pool is fab - and we loved the evening visitors of swooping swallows! The beautiful Falasarna beach is only a 10 minute drive away too. We would definitely return - thanks so much Dimos!

We loved staying in this villa - great facilities and lovely pool and terrace. Village only a short stroll away (less than 10 minutes) with a few lovely restaurants and supermarket for provisions and groceries. Falasarna beach only 10 minute drive (big carpark right by the beach). Very peaceful and relaxing and Dimos is a wonderful host!

Very nice house in a quiet location. But still close to the village with some nice taverna’s. Our host Dimas was very attentive.

Amazing villa set peacefully on edge of village. Few minutes drive to stunning beaches. Bakery, shop, taverns walkable from the villa. Host was fabulous and so helpful, he really went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing stay. Villa had everything we needed and more.

Nothing we didn’t like

Lovely villa on the edge of Platanos village. Great terrace to sit at night. Location is perfect, 10 min drive to Falasarna beaches and Kissamos, taverna and restaurants at walking distance. Cleaning every 2-3 days. Even though the villa has 2 apartments, both sides are facing the other way and it feels very private.

Just some small details could be improved. No furniture (only one chair) at upstairs terrace, moldy smell from kitchen cabinets. And, given that this is a luxury villa at a fairly high price, we were surprised to find no kitchen supplies whatsoever. Some salt, pepper, oil, water and a few nespresso cups would have been a nice addition.

Lovely property in a great location. Plenty of space and comfortable bedrooms. Private pool was really nice. The host was very helpful.

First of all great location, not far from a village with a decent supermarket, bakeries and pharmacy. 5 minutes walk to a great taverna, with others not far away. Falasarna beach is about 10 minutes away by car or 50 minutes downhill walk. 1 hour to Chania and 10 minutes by car to Kissamos with more shops and a bigger supermarket. The house is a nice size for 4, so even better for the 2 of us. Nice pool, though at this time of year the sea was a bit warmer, however it was still ok on the hot days. Well equipped with plenty of towels, including beach towels, lots of kitchen equipment, though a toaster and bread knife would have been appreciated. Good internet speed and Netflix access. Aircon available everywhere though we didn't use it. Dimos is a wonderful host who is always willing to help out; he even gave us a goody bag just before we left.
