Location excellent and facilities great

It was perfect for our needs

We honestly couldn’t fault, loved everything from the cleanliness & decor, to the location, & especially the staff’s welcoming, helpful & accommodating manner. The food was exceptional & delicious, we will definitely be staying here again! The staff’s enjoyable & informative conversations made our stay too, with history of the premises, knowledge of wines & the food, & their other personal interests, very social, great recruitment in our opinion & highly trained. There was only high mirrors, but after our mentioning of this, full length ones had been ordered straight away!

Unfortunately the plumbing could do with some attention - the toggle switch to get the shower to main shower head was tricky, took ages to get cold water and the towel rad leaked overnight when turned off. Woken at 05:20 by bin men (not hotels fault but maybe better glazing could help soundproof?). Could have done with a bigger coffee in the morning (maybe a couple more caffeinated pods). Breakfast was tasty (particularly the homemade brown sauce) but sadly about 50% of the items on our plates were cold (almost stone cold). The coffee wasn’t very hot either.

The rooms are in a good location near the sea front and parking is easy nearby. The room itself was small but comfortable. The restaurant serves a good breakfast.

enjoying the room amenities, especially the bath, we stayed an extra night in a more expensive room and staff moved our luggage for us which was very helpful

The key box entry arrangements were awkward, the staff in the bar didn't know anything about the accommodation

Spent 2 nights at Ginger Pig with friends and family - had an amazing time from start to finish the staff were all great and couldn't do enough for you - food was amazing and we're expertly looksd after by Ruth in the private dining room - she coped well with the lively group. how friendly the staff where, and the a member of staff actually showed you to the room was nice and showed you the access points etc instead of you trying to figure out. The room was extremely clean and tidy.

There is nothing not to like, great rooms and bar. Importantly accommodating staff. The only small point is location but with an excellent taxi service this is not an issue

Lovely room and bath. Comfy bed and a good telly. Perfect little touches - esp the beach bag for a morning swim!

The only thing that detracted from the stay was the road noise. To be expected given the location but my room was right on the street so noisy at night.

Rooms nicely furnished with comfortable beds and lovely bathroom. Minibar and nespresso machine were appreciated. Nice restaurant and bar on the premises.

No breakfast included. Location not very central (at the entry of Hove) but close to the seafront. Parking can be a little tricky in the summer.
