Our family of 8 enjoyed the intimate size of resort, that the staff always spoke Spanish and encouraged our kiddos to practice their Spanish, the activity leaders, especially Gill, always having an activity to do: water volleyball, beach volleyball, basketball and Zumba ( to name a few activities) and the spaciousness of the rooms and bathrooms.

The only issue we had as a big family with kids was having to eat dinner at the restaurants so late, because of the way reservations were handled. A very minor issue. of course, we always had the buffet available, so no one went hungry.

room is so old, sooo old, it need fixing like almost everything, the shower, I think from 70th, water everywhere, the doors knobs broken. plaster from the walls on the floor, stains on the bed linen. ELEVATOR was broken almost all our stay, and we are on 6th floor. thanks that we are young ppl.

No exhaust fan in the bathrooms Toilet seat was broken and toilet not bolted to the floor. When showering, mass puddle of water would form outside of the shower, every time. No hooks to hang towels. A a result, we hanged towels, swimming suits, etc.from chairs, tables, balcony. Thing is, it's so humid that they wouldn't dry. The entire room was humid, smelly at night, with no exhaust fans inside we can only imagine the MOULD situation in the rooms, with hundreds and hundreds of people staying every single day, showering daily.

I felt it was a bit understaffed for the amount of people that were staying there. if I asked for something it took longer than I would reasonably expect. my biggest complaint was that the three restaurants that they did have were really small. only being able to accommodate maybe 20 tables. keep in mind this is a pretty big resort. so when it was time for us to make reservations for dinner we could not eat at any of the restaurants the night we got there. we were told that we have to make the reservations one full day before and that we had to make the reservations early in the morning because they ran out of room pretty quickly. that means that first night we had to eat at the buffet, it was our anniversary so that kinda sucked. when we got to our room it had a chemical smell, kind of like they fumigated our room. the smell never really left l. I complained about 4 times about it and all they really did was spray deodorizer. it helped.

The buffet was great, the staff was extremely friendly.

The restuarants food was subpar, can never get pool chairs unless you get up at 6am and reserve them.

very nice place with large and beautiful facilities. first class and warm attention. the beach just one of the best.

the rooms need more hangers for towels. besides the air conditioning is old and very noisy. it stops and runs all the time.

For this price level we expected to get a higher hotel standard. Krystal needs to take care in the maintanence of its rooms.

staff mostly had bad attitudes and were not warm and personable. we requested numerous times to have our room phone replaced and no one ever came to replace. there are NO vegan or vegetarian options for the food which was a huge bummer. and they try to charge you $100 US dollars if you lose one of their poorly made bracelets. if you want them to last then make them more durable. our daughter lost hers in the pool somewhere! it’s incompetence at its finest.

The first night we got there my wife got locked in the restroom we had to wait about 30 min for someone to come and it took another 15 for them to open the restroom door that she was locked in the door handle wouldn’t turn nor open good thing my son didn’t get in there first
