No meals prepared: these are fully-appointed kitchens for self-use. Great location for many spots on the peninsula, especially Maya Beach. Great wading pool and shade-covered surround. Great spot for sunsets and sky-gazing.

There is no on-site host to inform about local tours, etc. The unique rounded cement villas prevent outside views and keep in humidity from the open hot tub, necessitating use of 1 or 2 of the heat pumps. Very uncomfortable kayaks and no resort access across the road to the ocean.

The room itself was beautiful. The view from the room was awesome. The pool was always nice and warm. The shower was spectacular.

The seats in living area were uncomfortable. Cushions slide making it more uncomfortable. It was inconvenient to be moved to another villa because hot tub didn't work. Didn't have TV because Internet was rarely on. Didn't have service to contact family or clients as needed. We always had to drive up the road to use cafe/restaurant internet. Army ant infestation the first night of being moved to another villa. When booking I was quoted $179 for the 3 nights but I was charged $314. Was insulted by the first attempted refund of $40 based on first three nights only to be further insulted by the second attempt of a refund of another $40. The washer/dryer is in Spanish. Couldn't Google words with no internet. Followed instructions but washer didn't do a complete cycle leaving our clothes full of soap then the second time it didn't fully rinse. Just really inconvenient

Hot tub did not get warm and the water in it had sand. We die not go in.

Great location away from the hustle and bustle, closer to local people and village life. The layout itself was very unique, decent bed.

The pin code we got from Booking.com was wrong, we arrived late in the evening and couldn’t get a hold of the property manager so it was a rough time checking in. And then the security guard, with great intentions led us to the wrong house which was occupied by another family having a party. Awkward. The hot tub does not really get hot and there were no instructions to operate it. AC in the bedroom was rather loud but hopefully you come during a time when you don’t need it. the front door did not lock properly, but there are only 4 units all occupied by other tourists so we didn't worry too much.

it’s cool look! the tub and the shower (spent most my time there)!! and that cute tiny lil balcony. felt like I was in Star Trek.

the AC was dripping so we used up some towels on that. maybe a couple extra towels would be dope. tub wouldn’t heat at first but we were helped and the heat was turned up so we got to soak on our full day!

Swan Villas is definitely the most unique place I have ever stayed. We felt like we were at the beach and jungle at the same time; tucked away in our own little private cave. The set up of the room is a bit different than we’re used to (toilet downstairs and shower and hand basin upstairs). The hot tub in the room is great; especially for those of us trying to avoid crowds at the beach or pool (the pool on site was also pretty empty when we stayed). Would definitely recommend staying here!

NO water pressure, Luke warm water in the shower at best, but this is Belize.

Architecture was unique and quite pleasing. That is the main reason I elected to say at Swan Villas - despite the fact that I was unable to get the room I had wanted.

Had no hot water for the first 1 1/2 days, WiFi connecion was SLOW and intermittent in availability. No bottled water in room. Electricity kept going off randomly. Jacuzzi was small and hardly comfortable for one person
