Very solid place for the island! Nice location with a view (one block off) of the Caribbean from the deck. Great deck to have morning coffee and chill in the afternoon. Pool was nice and you are basically in a private garden here, the ambience was nice. The villa itself was large, comfy couches and a large usable kitchen for cooking. Close to everything with a short walk. The shower had hot water (a plus on this Island). The island itself is noisy regardless where you are, but things quiet down after 10pm. So sleeping was good, and they had a nice large fan in the bedroom. I would stay again at Casa Amancer if I visited the island, based on what we saw and heard from others, this place was way above average for the price. They also provided bottled drinking water, so that was a big plus!

The bed could have used a pillowtop, but it was fine overall. I would have liked some bleach in the kitchen for adding a bit to the water when rinsing dishes after washing them as the tap water isn't drinkable on the island, so nothing major just a couple small things.

The room was great! Very good size. We decided to save some money in Caye Caulker and cook. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. There are plenty of local grocery stores to shop at to grab anything that you need. My partner and I brought our paddle boards and they were very helpful with getting us what we needed to inflate them. When asked questions before the trip they always got back to me in a timely fashion and answered the million and one questions that I had for them. Amanda's Place is close to everything in town and only a few minutes walk from the Water Taxi and The Split. I would definately recommend a stay at Amanda's Place.

Because it is in the heart of town and close to the main street it is a bit noisy in the evenings and the mornings. Other than that, everything was perfect!

Being upstairs had the best breeze ever!! Loved the view ocean! And our own pool was great too!! Most comfortable we felt all vacation and this was our last 4 days. Wished we knew about this gem sooner! We would have stayed here most of the trip and cancelled the other locations!

Wished it had AC for sleeping- i need a cool and less humid area to sleep.

Nice location, spacious cabana, great pool, friendly hosts

The cabana only has fans and no A/C. If you want to come back to the cabana to cool off, this may not be the place for you. If you don’t mind the lack of A/C and are okay with a few fans, this place is perfect. That was on me to have double-checked....just wanted to give the heads-up.
