Everything, the connection with nature there, is awesome, and the family owners are very kind.

The place is run by a very nice family and they make a tasty local breakfast with coffee. They also have a nice pool and a terrace in the backyard where you can relax after driving around. Pura vida ;)

The view at the volcano, the people who are working there were very nice, a nice place to sit in front of your room, warm water at the shower.

There were a lot of ants. Also in my bed.

Very clean, nice pool, air conditioning, very nice staff, very delicious homemade breakfast and BEAUTIFUL view of the volcano. And so cheap. Would definitely recommend.

The only complaint we have is that the owner must have just weaned a calf and the mother cow was balling for it at night

I really liked the small pond on the property that attracted some nice birds. The AC was good, as was the breakfast every day. The kitchen had all the equipment one might need but I didn't use any of it other than the fridge. The family owned restaurant close by was very good but a bit pricey.

The lighting in the unit was very poor. Most fixtures had only one low light bulb in them where it appeared there might be two sockets in each. The bathroom light was on the wall behind when facing the sink so it was about impossible to shave or see to put contact lenses in or out. No hot water at the bathroom sink, but was great in the shower. There was virtually nowhere to hang any clothes or towels except for one tiny towel ring in the bathroom.

nice bungalows, close to everything, nice restaurant next door

The location is amazing. Magnificent view directly from the backyard, and only a few minutes away from La Fortuna, Arenal National Park and other attractions. The staff was extremely friendly, the breakfeasts were good and typical of Costa Rican cuisine. I strongly recommend this place if you're staying in Arenal !

The entrance to the cabinas was a little rough, and if you have a sedan or other type of small car, you might want to consider parking at the reception.

amazing views! also has billiard in the pool area, loads of wildlife that can be easily spotted from the patio.

everything is a bit outdated and broken. literally. a chair with only 3 functional legs. a lamp that doesn’t work. squeaky doorhandles. overall, very tired little buildings.

Affordable option, but don't expect much.

Better breakfasts or at least more choices.

Room was large, quiet, clean and perfect! View of Volcano Arenal could not be beat. They prepared breakfast for us early each morning as we had early departures each morning.

The stay was fabulous!

The location is fantastic, quiet and calm. could really enjoy nature and the view is simply wonderful. Access to the pool and outside kitchen was great.

the cabin where I was staying had alot of ants in the kitchen, not that it bothers me that much as I would just clean up before preparing food. But it may be an issue for other travelers

Door had a gap from the floor and the ants and other bugs will get in the room!

The location is a short drive away from the city center. It’s great value for money and has a beautiful view of the volcano. There is a fridge, which is very helpful.

The showers were not properly cleaned and there was loads of dust in the corners of the shower. The rooms could really do with a small upgrade.
