Excellent position for seeing Reykjavik on foot. Good value.

Ideally it would provide car parking but it's right in the city centre.

the staff was very friendly and helpful. The location made it easy to access cultural sites, restaurants and bars. The cafe was very nice.

I was traveling with my son, so I booked the "family room" because I thought it would have 2 beds. It didn't, but that wasn't a big deal.

The hotel is right in the creative quarter of Reykjavik, it was perfectly placed for us to explore the town and to book tours with the tourist office opposite. The room was super clean and very comfortable, and we even had a sea view! The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were very happy with our choice of hotel, it was great value for money!

The location of this hotel was a 10/10. We had a late check in, the lady at front desk was very nice, shared great information with us, it was nice to be welcomed by someone so nice. She spoke Spanish as she was from Spain, (gracias si estas leyendo esto)! This hotel is sooo close to the Voyager, Hallgrimskirkja, winter clothing rental, some great restaurants, souvenir shops, cafeterias, and just everything. If you're renting a car, it has space for parking right outside (paid parking). Very centric. The room was great very nice looking, nice bed, clean, nice toiletries. 15 min away from Sky lagon... We loved this property!

No comments here, we loved everything and wished we had more time to stay an extra night. (We were driving to the glacier *Vatnajokull and Jokulsarlon* area next day)...

Did not have breakfast as not included in price. Room was comfortable although the bed was very squeaky ( #510 ). Hotel well decorated and inviting.

Room reasonably clean though dust on some surfaces ( tops of pictures, mirror, shower head ). In-room drinks offer not great ( one teabag! ).

Central location, clean rooms, very comfortable and we got a free upgrade. We had a balcony and a view of the main church. Although we were facing the main street and it was a party night, the noise isolation worked very well and we could sleep undisturbed.

There was nothing we did not like during our one-night stay. Maybe slightly high price comparing to similar hotels in other European cities, but it is in line with the local market.

LOCATION

At check-in, our room didn’t feel very clean, a lot of other people’s long hairs that were wiped on the surface but remained, the one glassware and the only spoon were dirty, the table by the TV had coffee stains that weren’t wiped properly, and the falling bathroom frame door. However, the room felt very clean on 13 February.

Location is great! Walking distance to 5 minutes to Hallgrimskirkja Church bus stop 9 and rainbow street, 15 minutes to Ingólfur Square. All staff we encountered were really friendly and professional. Nice atmosphere in the bar, and our room was upgraded

The room was cold, bedding thin and cheap. Couldn’t plug kettle in expect for high shelf above bed, no coffee in the room.

Fantastic location in a beautiful part of the old town. Staff were very welcoming. Parking was surprisingly easy via use of an app, managed to park within a few metres of the hotel. Cannot comment on the breakfast as we went to Sandholt bakery just along the road. We would definitely return to this hotel!

We only stayed one night (because we came from diff hotel booked by the tour agency) we decided to change hotels at the very end of our holiday in Iceland, they upgraded our room with the city view which is nice, no additional charge!. it is in the center, so it was the right choice to stay when we were doing our souvenir shopping. the hotel smells really good and it's clean. they also allowed us to check in a bit earlier when we arrived. the price is quite expensive given we only stayed for one night but they are inside the center of the city so that is understandable.

Nothing, we only stayed for one night and it was nice. nothing to complain. room might be a bit small but they are located right in the center of the city so that is understandable. just if you have a lot of luggage it might be a bit difficult to move around. but with us we have no problem, we only have one luggage for each.

Small rooms for a lot of money. Basic facilities, not necessarily luxury as advertised.

It was our first time in Iceland so we had to do a bit of research to work out the best place to stay. The Von is in the middle of the main commercial district and easy walking distance to the main sites and the bus stop (#9 Snorrabraut) where many of the day trip buses depart from. The rooms were furnished with 4-post beds which also meant we had plenty of space to hang clothing that got wet during our day trips.

This hotel supplies everything you need, where you want it, in the heart of Reykjavic.

La struttura è situata in una posizione centralissima e facile da raggiungere. Abbiamo avuto un upgrade della stanza che era molto pulita e accogliente.

Non vengono fornite le ciabatte in stanza e l’hotel non dispone di bottigliette d’acqua per i clienti. L’hotel non prevede colazione intercontinentale a buffet ma solo à la carte. Wifi da migliorare.

L’emplacement est très bien situé dans l’une des rues principales. A quelques minutes de marches des arrêts de bus et à une quinzaine de minute de l’établissement. Literie très confortable et personnel agréable.

Location was excellent.

Please note that this is downtown property and the size of room and available amenities reflect this. The staff was lovely and location was great, but the room and bathroom are very small. Rooms are not very sound proof, and doors are heavy/slammed and you’ll hear that. Overall it was a decent stay, but it was hard to justify the cost.

This was a really convenient place to stay. It's right in the middle of everything, so walking to most places was easy or the bus stop was just a few blocks away. All of the front desk associates were very helpful and the hotel was very clean and nice. I would definitely recommend it!

Location and the staff were professional very helpful and personable. I was extremely happy staying at Von and the staff are supportive. The staff I need to mention on the excellent service are Casper, Jose, Gatis and Gustavo, I can’t thank them enough.

Conveniently located within walking distance of much of Reykjavik, including bus stop #9 where a lot of tours and airport transport stop at. Reception was very friendly and helpful. Was able to get an early check-in, which was nice. Comfortable bed and facilities. Restaurant on first floor but didn’t have a chance to eat there.

Although mostly quiet, could sometimes hear neighboring room but not enough to be too disturbing.
