The property was well set up for a larger group (there were 16 of us). Great location, reasonable cost, easy to find and park and excellent communication from the host. We would certainly stay at the Gatehouse again!

This property was well located and met the expectations of the group. We have no hesitations in recommending this property to the Stayz community.
Our host, Christine was very responsive and reached out to see if we needed anything without prompting.

The property was great for our family of 8 adults & 7 kids. The early check in & late check out was very much appreciated. The location was close to town & other attractions. We all enjoyed our weekend.

We were 17 people and a dog, including kids. We had a great time. We played cricket and did bbq by the lake. Everything is close by and the house is well maintained

As a group of twelve plus a baby and three dogs, this property was perfect! Comfortable, relaxed, great location and everything we needed.

Great location for our family xmas with plenty of beds & bathrooms for our group of 8 adults and 6 kids. Could use some modernising and an extra living space would have been great when the weather turned wet and everyone was stuck inside. Good value overall.

We had a great stay. The place was exactly as described. Very comfortable for 8 of us. Check in and communication were fabulous. One friend left some clothes behind and they were sent through. Could not have been more helpful.

The property is fabulous for groups. There is a lot of history with the property and the area and Beechworth Main Street is just a short walk. Christine was always quick to respond and there was no issues with the property. It was exactly as described.

Property was very old but nicely maintained and clean. House was very spacious and have all the amenities. We had lot of fun.

Excellent group accommodation for our party of 8 adults with great and secure bike storage. A quiet location but still close to all that Beechworth has to offer. Perfectly suited to our weekend of cycling with pubs close by and a comfortable lounge room for the post-ride banter.

This property suited our multi-generational family holiday perfectly - the location was lovely, the kids loved the accessibility to the bike path, basketball and tennis court, walks etc. Easy walk to and from town, historically interesting home, and our hosts were lovely. Thank you Christine.

The group had a great time in Beechworth and enjoyed staying at this property. For a group of 11 it was great having access to 3 toilets and 3 showers. Any issues Christine and Pete sorted out super quick - thankyou

We had an amazing long weekend in the beautiful historic Gate House. A wonderful accommodation for large groups with plenty of amenities. The house has enough space that you are not on top of each other. The bedrooms are cosy, the kitchen, lounge and outdoors are fantastic.

Had a great time here. Lovely house, beautiful surrounds. A few issues which we reported to the manager who was very helpful and responsive and appreciative of our suggestions. Would happily stay again.

We needed some time to enjoy with family and friends following the hectic schedules leading into the Christmas holidays and found the perfect place at The Gatehouse, Beechworth. The booking process was easy and the lodging was very cozy, clean and comfortable. The surroundings and the town captivated us where there was a sense of adventure and mystique.

We had a great experience staying at the gatehouse during new year's eve 2023. This is a very spacious and well-maintained property with a big backyard. Kids were playing throughout the day. Bed arrangements were perfect for a family of 1-2 kids. all other amenities are available. Christine is a wonderful owner who responds to the queries on time. Overall, we will cherish our trip and stay at Gatehouse

My family and l had a fantastic stay,plenty of room especially as the weather was terrible, we managed to spend alot of time enjoying the sights ,the owner was very considerate and made sure we were all okay and inquiring if we needed anything, highly recommended 👌

Right from the time of booking, Christine has been a great communicator. Our stay was fabulous. Not luxury, but functional, clean and well located. It suited our large group perfectly and I would recommend for large families or groups.

Family get together to celebrate a milestone birthday. The property was perfect for our large group of two families. There were enough rooms and beds for everyone, clean bathrooms, a laundry and cooking facilities. The lounge area was excellent for games and discussions. It's the perfect property for groups of 10 - 15 people.

Seven of us stayed for mums 70th long weekend. Lovely home with a great history and plenty of beds! Warm and cosy for our 4 degree nights. Short walk from town but we decided to shop at the great stores and eat in at night.

The house is huge, spotless, very comfy, set in a wonderful elevated parkland location overlooking the town. Christine was very easy to communicate with, as well as flexible and accomodating. The area is full of beautiful buildings, interesting history, great food amd wine, fun activities and natural beauty. Our two families had a lovely time and can’t wait to return.

We loved the The Gatehouse, was in a perfect location had plenty of room for all of our family.The house had everything you would need for a relaxing holiday.
