This is my fourth time staying at Swinton Hotel, and as always, my time spent there was lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful once again and the room clean and comfortable to sleep in. The bathroom is a little on the small side, however it is big enough for its purpose! Getting to the hotel from Kings Cross is also very easy, and while my sister and I stayed in the ground floor of the hotel this time around, there is a lift available for those with disabilities or heavy suitcases. I truly enjoy staying at Swinton Hotel, hence why this is my fourth time staying there. I also find it a bonus that the hotel offers a 2pm check in and a later checkout time at 11am. They also provide luggage storage if you are in need of it, which is really helpful when you have a later train time.

Being near a main road, it can be a little noisy during the night. The walls are rather thin too, and despite the fact that I managed to sleep through most noise, my sister woke up at 7am to very loud music being played. At night, the rooms can get a little cold, however it is an old building, so that is to be expected. This is not a deal breaker for me really, but I have put it here for those that might want to know.

The staff is super friendly & helpful. The location is great - central London and the tube station at King's Cross is 5-6 mins from the hotel. There are a few convenience stores, bus stops and lovely small restaurants nearby. I will book again if I stay in London in future.

It was a great one-night stay for my partner and I. The room and en suite were super clean and the bed was comfy. The staff were friendly. Good value for the price. Good location for St Pancras.

The cleaniness the location near the King’s Cross station (walking distance) the outside garden area great to relax on an evening after a full day sight seeing, and the staff were very attentive and friendly including refreshments in your room with bottles of water and biscuits just what we needed when arrive and we would definitely return again and felt safe as a single mum with a teenage daughter 👌🏻

Paper cups or a choice or a normal cup too and I would’ve preferred a bath for a long soak after a long day in the city though my daughter preferred showers!

This was such great value for money. The staff were professional and bent over backwards to make our stay a pleasant one. When we arrived, we were given a ground floor room but preferred to say on a higher floor. It was no problem to them and they were happy to move us into a beautifully decorated en suite room on the top floor. The decorations were tasteful in the bedrooms and dining area; there was even a comfortable lounge for you to wait whilst they were processing arrivals. Even though we did not pay for breakfast, management were kind enough to store our takeaway in their own fridge overnight and even allowed us to help ourselves to a cup of tea from their kitchen. It was a shame that the weather hadn't been fantastic as the garden area. looked like the perfect place to have sat and enjoyed ourselves. There was room to store your luggage if check-out time did not suit your departure time from the area.

While we were here for 2 days, we requested for a change of room since it wasn't comfortable and there was no electricity or wifi the entire night. They gave us a better room on the second day without any extra charges, and were apologetic.

We would have appreciated more transparency about their amenities such as the quality of the bathrooms in the standard rooms. The first room we stayed at, had a shower over toilet seat.

I was here for just one night before getting an early train. The room is exactly what is advertised. Rooms aren’t big but it wasn’t a surprise. The staff were all extremely friendly and really welcoming.

Close to public transport. Only a 7 minute walk to the tube station. The room was bigger than the normal london hotels. Excellent breakfast for just 6.50 pound

No safe. Left passport at front desk for them to keep safe in there security box which turned out to be in an envelope on a shelf. Took 2 staff members 10 mins to find them

Very helpful staff, good location. Tea, coffee, water and snacks in room. Nice garden and reception hall.

Small rooms with very basic comfort. Narrow corridors with lots of doors, difficult to navigate with luggage.

Bed too low and too soft

We arrived earlier and no problem, we were let in. The receptionist,Zigam was extremely kind, he helped us with our flight tickets. Thanks again for that.He also showed us to the lovely garden of the hotel, there we could relax after our long journey.

The only thing that was good about the accommodation was the cleanliness

Every day from 7 in the evening she did the laundry. It was as if she was right in our room. We thought it would stop, but unfortunately she washed all night. We tried to solve it with the reception, but unfortunately, no one solved it. It was like this for 3 days in a row, when we heard the buckle all night and it was really quite unpleasant. For so much money, no one tried to solve our problem, the answer was always that I would call the manager or that they would go there to look, but no answer or solution came. Unfortunately

The staff were very friendly, and were always on hand to help out if needed. Considering the location it was great value for money and just what I needed for a one night stay.

The floors were rather uneven, so walking about and climbing stairs felt a bit disorienting. The entry was a buzzer so if you wanted in you had to wait for staff to open the door (it was never a long wait and the staff were present, but it was still slightly inconvenient).
