This was an absolute picture perfect stay with access to the pool and hot tub out the back sliding door and a private deck on the side of the unit with access to the sea. The unit was spacious with all the kitchen utensils, equipment and space needed to feed your family and guests. We will definitely be going back as it offered the perfect getaway that will now be our standard! Highly recommended!

Stayed with my in-laws and 10 year old daughter. Loved that we could watch her in the pool from our unit. The direct access to the beach was great. The house was clean with everything we needed and more. The living space was comfortable and tastefully decorated. Would definitely stay again!

Nice gentle breeze all day. Quality beds and great furniture. Never got a whiff of the smoke from the forest fires all week. Great host that has a great understanding of communication. HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone.

This unit served us well! Perfectly stocked, comfortable beds, poolside access and private beach access. After activities during the day, it was lovey to spend evenings at the unit cooking and relaxing together. The view is spectacular!

Ocean view fantastic trip

The views were stunning, the condo very cozy and functional. The hosts provided all needed important information and are very welcoming. As my kids said “it was super duper mega fun!”

My family and I have rented at Inn of the Sea for the past few years, and so have a number of our friends, so we’ve seen a lot of the different units and what they have to offer. This one might be our favorite! The biggest reason may be the access to the pool. Step right out of the living room on to the pool deck. Not many units can offer this. It is super convenient, especially when you have kids who need the bathroom frequently. Another huge plus is the private beach access on the south side of the property. No other units have this. Everyone can access this beach, but they have to navigate around the pool complex walking across the rocks. The last big plus is the minimal number of stairs. Most 2 bedroom units require a flight of stairs to access and another once you’re inside the unit. This unit has a handful of outside stairs to access it and zero inside the unit. Super handy for loading and unloading the car. Aside from these pluses, the unit itself is well equipped (the listing is accurate) and the owner, Denise, and quick and thorough with her communication. I would recommend her and this unit 100%!

The pictures looked great but...this place exceeded my expectations! The location is exceptional (I hesitate to say that because I'd like to book again in the future and don't want to have to compete with more vacationers, but it's true). The resort is well kept and well controlled without feeling like you are having to be extra careful to keep the rules. We brought our dog and felt it was easy to follow the resort's rules - dogs on leash, pick up after your pet, etc. The usual kind of courtesies you expect as a dog owner. The inside of the condo was represented accurately in the beautiful pictures. And the host was warm and helpful and made herself available via email, and yet we felt we had our privacy as well - a perfect balance! This place has access to the resort's pool as well as a regional park right off the side patio - Blue Heron Park. When the tide is out you can climb down the 6 foot rocky slope and wander through the tide pools. Enchanting especially in the morning. Book it if you can!

This unit is incredible. It was very clean and extremely well stocked. The kitchen had everything you could hope for. The large windows overlooking the bay took our breath away. We would often just sit and watch the view. This unit has a nice private entrance which makes it easy to access from the parking lot. The living room has sliding glass doors which open onto a patio which sits directly in front of the pool and hot tub. We loved this! If you are wanting a little more privacy, you can easily roll down the screen. We were there in the summer and the pool opens at 8:00am - meaning it is busy with kids right away and can get a bit noisy early in the day. We are up by then anyway, so it didn't bother us. We just had a coffee and watched them swim! Excellent unit and I hope we can return again!

We loved the location of this property-right on the ocean with a view of the ocean and the sound of waves and birds was wonderful. The private deck was also terrific. The pool and hot tub were busy with young families most of the day and evening, however the pool area was quiet by 10:00 pm or dusk which was great. This bottom floor unit was quite sound proof, we could only hear upstairs children running around but they usually quieted down by 10:30-11:00pm. We used the fire pit to cook hotdogs and marshmallows and caught crab off the dock. The condo contained everything you needed. Thank You to Denise for everything-this is a wonderful place to vacation and spend time with your family.

Loved the big windows where you had views from the side of the home too. Also being pool side, we could sit on our little patio and meet people easily.Kitchen was well equipped.

I was lucky enough to stay for a couple or weeks at this property for a working holiday and it met all my expectations and more. It had the ocean outside the door as well as a swimming pool and hot tub. Denise, the property manager was lovely and responded quickly to any question I might have. Excellent wifi which allowed me to work remotely. Great vacation property for families, couples or friends looking for a west coast getaway.

You may need to close the blinds on the patio (east) side when it's in use by others for privacy but that doesn't take away from the glass wall on the south side overlooking the ocean and blue heron park. We stayed in December and the hot tub and pool were seldom in use. The place is very well stocked and very clean.

Highly recommend this vacay rental, perfect for nice private beach walks, easy access to pool and hottub, sweeping views from the entire condo and I really enjoyed my early morning coffee outside with nature all around me!

This property is absolutely spectacular! Denise the host is wonderful to work with, we will go back again for sure. The suite is gorgeous and is stocked with more than everything you will need. A lot of thoughtfulness and planning has been put into making the stay at Inn on the Sea perfect!

The suite was perfect! Comfortable, fully stocked, spacious, and we loved the direct pool access, so convenient with children. The side patio giving us private access to the beach was great - and the only unit on site that has this private access- from what I could tell. And the views! What a way to wake up and have coffee on the patio. The beds are super comfy and the sheets were so nice. Great big pool and bath towels. Denise is awesome to communicate with, quick and informative. It was just so nice to relax by the pool on the ocean!

Great location and close to Provincial Parks, Cedar Farmers Market, Crow and Gate Pub and the quaint town of Ladysmith. We loved hanging out on the dock and having fires in the fire pit. Beds were comfy and enjoyed out stay.

Ideal location. Only 25 minutes away from the ferry and yet feels remote. We will be making this place a once a year gateway!

We had a wonderful stay in this amazing condo. The two patios were awesome... one very private patio looking out onto the ocean and one that opened right onto the pool deck. The unit was set up with everything that you could need, high quality bedding and very well stocked kitchen. The boat access was great, we used both the dock and the mooring buoy. Ideal place to stay with family and friends. Great communication from Denise, and a very lovely bottle of wine left for us was a wonderful personal touch. We will be back next year!

The condo unit was bright, cozy and well stocked. The location is breathtaking and watching the sunrise over the ocean is worth an early morning. Quite a distance from everything so don't forget anything when you are shopping. The cell service was unavailable in the unit and there was no working landline however, internet worked well. I can't express enough the beauty of this location with a view you never get tired of.
