Really enjoyed this stay, close to the seaside, beautiful swimming pool which gets cleaned daily. Our studio where we stayed with 2 kids was perfect. The kitchen was equipped with washing machine, oven and stove top and coffee maker. The conciërge was very easy to approach with questions even though she speaks no English, she does her very best to accommodate. The sofabed was fine, shower too. The washing machine was such a big plus when travelling with kids! The studio had its own patio which was great for breakfast or when kids went to sleep. I would recommend! We were 3hrs early but could already check in, a big plus!

Only missing some things in kitchen (enough cutlery, wine glasses, cutting board, sharp small knife, pepper and some cooking oil). We missed Black out curtains, so kids were always awake early.

We were very pleasantly surprised when we arrived at Casa Vacanza Il Malandrone. The one bedroom apartment was much bigger than we had expected, with tiled floors and exposed brickwork ceilings which meant that it was lovely and cool! There was also air conditioning. The apartment was absolutely spotless. The location of Casa Vacanza itself was actually very difficult to find, even with SatNav (which kept taking us to the wrong place!), mostly because it was set back off a main road and not obviously signposted but when we called the owner as we were lost, she sent someone out within five minutes to meet us and guide us back. A couple of reviews have mentioned that there are busy roads close by, but we didn't find any issue with noise at all and you can't actually see the roads. The location of Casa Vacanza is really convenient for going to the beach, (10 mins drive) and to the incredible white sand and clear blue sea of the 'White beaches" (Spiaggi Bianchi). There are also a number of supermarkets within ten mins driving so no problems stocking up and a couple of cute towns also close by. Casa Vacanza was no more than a thirty minute drive from Pisa airport so really convenient even for a long weekend. The property itself is small with maybe six or so apartments. The grass area around the pool is really well maintained and the pool is very nice. One very lovely family we met there were back for their 6th year running. I would definitely recommend Casa Vacanza as a peaceful get away and very good value for money.

The only thing we would have liked was a much bigger chopping board! And perhaps some detailed driving instructions would be helpful to make it easier to find the property.
