Convenient location, super helpful staff to share travel tips and spacious room.

Thin walls, could hear people talking or walking outside of the room at the corridor.

Friendly owner, good breakfast with tasty coffee. The room was very spacious. We had everything we needed. They helped us arrange the river cruise to Yangshuo. Good value for money.

Nothing to complain about

The location was super convenient with good public transport links. We booked the mini single room and it was absolutely sufficient for our needs (bathroom clean and bed very comfortable).

Great value for money! Rooms were modern and clean. Location was excellent - very central, able to walk to all areas of interest. Elephant Trunk Hill was a 15 minute walk away.

Super friendly and honest personnel. They inform you if an activity is really worth it or not.

A good place to stay in Guilin, very affordable and fills your basic needs.

It is a small hotel with unique rooms. Front desk staff was always very nice and welcoming. The room itself was very spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was large and the shower in particular was very nice. AC worked great after returning from touring the extreme heat. Bed was great, too.

I got a river view room which was very nice, but in the mornings it was a bit noisy because of groups along the river path. I wouldn't get that type of room again. A fridge in the room would be a nice addition.

The view was very peaceful. And the room super lovely with a bath on the balcony. Beds comfy and shower lush. David the owner was extremely helpful and went out of his way to help us. His staff were amazing too. One of them walked me to the wine store for a nice bottle of white and also went to buy ice. We saw many hotels in guilin, and none came close to the quaint atmosphere of this gem!

Stunning location of the hotel, very clean and comfortable rooms. One of the people at the reception speaks English and can advise interesting places in the city.

Breakfast takes half an hour to prepare.

Perfect location for some peace and quiet, right on the riverside. It is not a long walk to the town centre for a wider choice of bars and restaurants. The guy at reception (David) is superb. He helped arrange my boat journey to Yangshuo. It is nightmare of bureaucracy and paperwork right now due to Covid. I could not have done it without him, so I am very grateful. The pickup from the airport was very reliable. My driver had excellent English, having lived in Australia for a couple of years. He was interesting to talk with. My room was large and comfortable, and the value was terrific.

Nothing for the price! But just a warning that there are some very steep stairs and no lift, so if you are infirm, do ask for a room on the ground floor.

We had a lovely room with a view of the river and our own private balcony. David was helpful, and spoke excellent English. The breakfast was good and the hotel was homely and relaxed.

Staff were super helpful helping us book tours and transport. English spoken. Rooms were comfortable and well air-conditioned. Good shower. Our kids loved the bunk beds. Short walk to Guilin’s sites. It’s a basic stay but great value for money.

The stuff was kind enough to prepare a breakfast for us at 6.30 AM as we had a transfer bus to another place. The location is also super convenient, as all tourist attractions are in a five minutes distance. More than that, there are plenty of sharing e-bikes around the corner, so you don't have to worry about taxi or public transport.

The only thing that we didn't like is the duration of our stay. Hope to stay longer next time!

Big, beautifully decorated room. David in reception was enormously helpful. The bed was comfortable. Huge shower and a nice outlook. Close to everything. Value for money- I would stay here again.

Beautiful hotel , spotlessly clean, great location - located by the riverside. Lovely and helpful staff who offer to book the tours etc. (we have booked a driver for the day for 4 of us to the rice terraces and and it did cost 700 RMB ) . There is also a washing machine on the top floor. Our favourite hotel in China.

Everything perfect: - clean - quite - friendly staff - breakfast available

- only cash payment possible (for foreigners; no VISA, no mastercard -> they tried to swipe my card, but I didn’t get notification that my payment failed, which I would normally get)

Close to the main train station. Staff speak very well English (regarding the low level of English in China this is a huge pro). Room was big, clean and comfortable. Location it’s quite centric, but far from the noisy streets. Close to the lakes and downtown parks. They arrange a driver from a far station, which might be very convenient.

Nothing special, maybe there are not too many options at the restaurant but it’s not a big deal.
