Toilet a bit smelly & lighting too dim for me.

The concept of the hotel is retro and hip. Nice touch to the decor. The location is awesome. Easy to get to town and attractions within minutes by car. There's also a cafe next to the reception. Breakfast spread is decent. Enough to keep you going for the day. The bed and pillows are comfortable.

No window grills. Was a bit worried about security but my stay was safe. Can be dangerous for adventurous young kids though. No swimming pool but who cares if you're there for shopping and good food, you will not have time to hang out at the pool anyway 😄

Great deco and interior for hotel lobby, cafe and room. The hotel and room was clean, aesthetically designed and smells good. staff was friendly and helpful. Ample parking space, privacy amongst guests and not noisy at all. Very fast lifts and easy check-in/check-out process.

The manager at the reception was inconsiderate and totally unhelpful. I requested a slightly late check-out at 1pm as i need to go out and afraid could not come back on time due to heavy traffic during CNY. My request was rejected without any due consideration. It was on a weekday and the manager simply gave an excuse that the hotel was fully booked on that day. Please don't treat your customers like a fool! Subsequently checked a few hotel reservation websites and they showed there were plenty rooms available. The manager even said that there will charge for late check out. It is not a matter of money but the customer service shown was really terrible. This was my first time stayed in this hotel. With such bad experience, it will definitely be the last!!!

ROSA MALACCA STAFF"S PROVIDE EFFICIENT SERVICE AND FRIENDLY STAFFS . ROOMS ARE PROVIDED WITH GOOD WATER HEATER, IRON , HAIR DRYER AND ELECTRIC KETTLE ALL IN GOOD WORKING CONDITIONS . VERY CLEAN HOTEL . WE HAD A JOYFUL STAY IN ROSA HOTEL FOR 3 NIGHTS . THANKS ROSA STAFFS . KEEP UP GOOD WORK. 👍

cleanliness-under bed is not cleaned regularly, accidentally peaked when looking for an item on the floor facilities-bathtub would be a plus plus
