This is a truly fantastic place for relaxing with your friends or family. Wonderful house, breathtaking location, helpful, and kind hosts. We are grateful for the relaxing and energizing time that we could spend there.

The chalet was modern, spacious, in a great location with beautiful views

Winterfell is advertised as "an entire chalet" to rent. This is not the case! We went as a family with 2 adults and 2 children. One of the bedrooms was locked by the owners and not accessible due to the fact we booked as 4! The owners also stay in the bottom part of the chalet during your stay. This information was not provided to us when I booked. We were checking out of the chalet on Friday morning and the owners wanted to come and stay in the bottom part of the chalet and stated only at check in and after paying that they would arrive at 10am on Thursday morning to facilitate our check out Friday morning. We requested by text the next day that they come for check out as agreed on Friday morning as we had rented the entire chalet. The owners initially agreed with this but arrived to the chalet at 12am Friday morning to stay the night down stairs! It was bizarre and very disappointing. When we gave this feedback to them they absolutely did not see a problem and could not understand our perpective. We explained that we had paid for an entire chalet and we did not receive this. I have since met another family who had the exact same experience with this accommodation so it was certainly not a one off issue. It is such a shame as the chalet is lovely but we would not stay here again on the basis of this.
