Nice garden and appartement had all necessary for few days

Place a bit off and you need a car for all aspects

Lovely apartment full of character in a very quiet part of the village. 20 minutes walk from the restaurants and close to Sintra and the beaches. Ricardo is a wonderful host and is very helpful. The garden is beautiful and quiet.

The location was fabulous. To be-able to stroll into beautiful Colares for a coffee, or leave the car at home, jump on a local bus and travel 20 minutes and discover Sintra is fantastic. With a short drive along the coast you can swim at the amazing Azenhas do Mar or pop on over to the wind blown western most tip of Europe Cabo da Roca. We struggled to find the property initially. Manoeuvring a car through the tight laneways is always fun. But once there we found the house cosy and comfortable and great value for money.

The bed and bedding could do with a bit of an update and a sharp knife in the kitchen would be great.

The place was very cosy! and the host was so friendly and helped us a lot! It has the forrest just behind it, so it was such wonderful nature!

I would've liked to have a trashcan for the dogs poop closer to the house, the closest one was in the beginning of the road.

lovely apartment with gardens in a quiet village. Kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. We were only a short drive from the beaches and from Sintra but away from all the hustle and bustle. Supermarket in Colares was well stocked and reasonable priced. Having access to the garden was a real plus. Also big car park just next door.

it was fine for us, but for a bigger group the single bathroom and relatively small kitchen space could be a bit tricky.

Great 2 night stay here with my dog. Has everything you might need plus a great location 10 minutes to the beach, 10 to palaces and other area attractions. The garden in the back looks really interesting but the weather didn't really permit much time back there. The loft space upstairs was wonderful for morning movement and meditation practice. I hope to return soon.

The apartment is spacious and located in a very nice rural area, the view to the garden was stunning. It’s very quiet (you don’t hear traffic or anything). The kitchen is very well equipped for cooking. It’s a great spot for hikes around Sintra of Praia das Maçãs. The owner replies in case of any doubt or difficulty and is very helpful.

The apartment has probably a problem with humidity because there is a strong smell of mold. Without a car it was really hard to get there from Lisbon and to travel back on national holiday was close to impossible (the public trains and buses can be canceled without previous announcement).

Good place to stay in a beautiful environment. Very friendly owner. Also a nice garden.
