The location was great for our day at the Brecon Beacons. The breakfast was exceptional. We really enjoyed all the extra touches such as having Welsh cakes and hot chocolate in the room, and the pots of jam at breakfast. Kelvin was a great host and made us feel really welcome in his home. I would recommend staying here to anyone fantastic value for money!

The room was immaculately clean and the host was extremely friendly and accommodating. We felt very welcome and as we were knew to the area, Kel was very helpful in giving us tips of where to go and how best to spend our short stay. The breakfast blew us away and was first class quality.

Das B&B in Gilwern liegt ruhig an einer kleinen Schlucht, die steile/enge Auffahrt ist zu bewältigen, kein Problem. Die Zimmer, es gibt nur drei, sind sauber und stilvoll eingerichtet, das ganze Haus ist mehr als gepflegt und macht einen neuwertigen Eindruck. Die Gastgeber sind herzlich, geben Tipps für den Abendspaziergang oder Pubbesuch, und das vom Hausherren zubereitete Frühstück schlägt absolut alles - etwas besseres, feineres, und geschmacklich derart geniales hatten wir bisher noch nicht erlebt! Klare Empfehlung, buchen, da macht man alles richtig!

Hosts made sure that we had everything we needed in every sense to make our stay a memorable one, which indeed it was. 5 stars to Kel for the sumptuous cooked breakfast and for both Mel and Kel for their information on places of interest to visit.

Everything met our expectations so nothing to add here.

everything here was perfect, Mel and Kel are so lovely and welcoming. The rooms are fine, the breakfast delicious, and their recommendations were so helpful! one little tip- learn your rivers…. Mel will want to play her rivers game with you 😆

Mel and Kel are such lovely people. You feel very welcome from the very beginning. They give great tips and help where ever they can. Breakfast is absolutely delicious. Even the sausages. ;) Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

The bathroom is a bit small, but you can manage. Parking isn't easy, but you can do that, if not, you will be helped.

Fabulous get-away in a little corner of serenity in beautiful Brecon-Beacons! We had wonderful time even despite the rain and would recommend Mill Lodge to anyone looking for a lovely break. The breakfast was absolutely 5* and really couldn't get any better. The owners couldn't do enough to make our stay as enjoyable as possible, thank you so much and we will be back!

This very comfortable modern B&B in Gilwern is real value for money. It is tucked away in a suburban lane surrounded by character homes. Parking is on site. The house itself is very comfortable and well presented. Breakfast was cooked by the host and was delicious. Our room was very comfortable. We both slept well in our generous double bed. Good shower. Room was very clean and very well maintained and presented. We would stay here again.
