Home from home; clean, warm and comfortable and had everything you needed. Great location, just a short 5 minute walk to the town centre. On street parking available and we didn’t have any issues finding a spot, despite notices in neighbours windows asking you not to park outside their house (if you’ve paid your road tax you can park anywhere!!) We would highly recommend this lovely house and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Thank you for letting us stay in your holiday home.

Great location with easy access to local facilities.

Neighbour’s seem to have some issues with on street parking and although parking was not a problem, it was slightly uncomfortable to see signs in neighbouring windows about parking which made for a feeling of being unwelcome.

It was very clean and comfortable, very well equipped, and things like soap, biscuits, milk, tea, coffee etc provided. Location is good, easy walk to town, parking a bit tricky but we always found a space nearby.

slightly strange smell, but not a major issue. For taller people the stairway can be an issue with banging your head on the way down.

Convenient, cosy, clean and easy to locate. Everything we needed was there. A quiet location that was close to the town centre.

Location of the property was excellent for exploring Skipton on foot, with easy access to the town, castle and canal. We didn't venture too far on this occasion as meeting family. However, we know the many Dales towns/villages, attractions, and walking opportunities are easily accessible. So whether you want a leisurely drive, a pleasant canal walk or a more strenuous hike the Dales, Skipton and Belle Vue provide a good base from which to do these things.

Nothing major.....just couldn't reach the dustpan and brush when eventually spied on top of the kitchen cupboards!!

The accommodation was clean and warm. I liked seeing horses from the kitchen window. Everything was in good working order. Car parking was readily available on the street.

As it is an old property the WiFi did not seem to reach the second bedroom.

The property was lovely, original features, such as fireplaces, blended in really well with modcons. The property was very clean and it was great to have milk and chocolate biscuits supplied. We had no trouble parking outside the property. It was in a quiet street only a ten minute walk into town, where there are loads of pubs and eateries. Would definitely recommend the property to family and friends.

Could not fault it

Another amazing stay at Belle Vue - a real home away from home. The cottage is spotlessly clean on arrival and has everything needed for a really comfortable stay, including a handy utility room with washing facilities. This was our second visit and the cottage is in the perfect location for a family break, with lots of space for our 2 year old to run around with his dinosaurs and the town centre only a 5 minute walk away. The owner responds to queries almost immediately and we absolutely rate the whole experience of our stay as 10/10. We can't wait to come back again.

Great house in lovely town

Very well equipped, clean and comfortable house in a quiet residential street. Within a short walk from the Centre of town with its canals, shops and frequent street market. Also a walk to the railway station to get on the famous Settle to Carlisle railway. On street parking always possible. A separate utility room with washer drier and freezer can be used as a drying room as well.

We found the fridge rather small for family use Perhaps a drinks fridge for milk and wine/beer would help. There was just one downside the next door neighbour was a heavy smoker so we did not spend any time in little sunny courtyard which was such a shame. I would still return to Belle Vue as such a comfortable house.

Street area. Bay window needs net curtians otherwise you feel like sitting in a goldfishbowl! Not being met by someone as promised. Owner was available to talk but this was not what was promised. Lack of local up to date leaflets about the area/town.

Wood flooring nice, dishwasher useful, beds comfortable. Easy walking distance to High Street.

Shower pressure a bit low. Parking on the road was tight and only once did we get parked right outside property. Not a big deal for us but might be for others.

It was nice to have a dining room with bookcase and easy chairs, separate to the tv lounge. Giving ample room for 4 people. The kitchen though small was workable with all mod cons and cooking utensils. Upstairs didn't disappoint too. One large front double bedroom, and a smaller back twin bedroom.The big bathroom was very modern with a large free standing,roll top bath, and large separate electric shower. The cottage is situated in a quiet area of Skipton, but only a short walk into the town.The small back yard has a table and chairs and catches the afternoon sun. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property and area to anyone.
