Very clean. Comfy bed. Excellent breakfast and pleasant host/slaff. Small car park at rear of guest house. 10 min walk to centre.

Larger room maybe, but fine for short stay.

Daniel was extremely helpful, polite, and friendly. I felt most welcomed. The bed was very comfortable. Lovely fresh fruit given at breakfast, which was delicious with my cereal, then a Full English Breakfast was freshly cooked, served in a lovely dining room. Everywhere was spotless.

There was nothing to dislike

On our arrival we were greeted by the owner who was polite & friendly. Property was clean, well decorated with plenty of information on the local area. Skipton is a very a very nice area with plenty to see & do.

Room we stayed in was quite small, but was appropriate for our stay.

Greeted upon arrival and house rules - which were not overburdening or unreasonable -clearly explained. Breakfast was preordered and preferred time given to host. There were a choice of breakfasts each of which were very well presented with no evidence of grease or fat.

Daniel was an excellent host. My dad and I shared a twin room during a three day cycling trip along the Leeds-Liverpool canal. Daniel helped us store our bikes in his shed and was on hand to help us with these again in the morning. Nothing seemed like too much trouble. His instructions upon arrival were really clear and he was quick to respond to my question about bike storage prior to our arrival. He gave good recommendations for dinner in Skipton. The breakfast he made was excellent and set us up for our second day in the saddle! I would highly recommend staying here.

Everything during our stay at Dalesgate Lodge was perfect! The warm and kind welcome, the spotless cleanliness, the excellent breakfast, I have nothing negative to think about! The house in itself was very nicely decorated and ideally situated, at a walking distance from the town centre, but far enough so that you can park your car easily.

Host very warm and welcoming. Liked the little extra touches in the room which made it feel like home from home, such as bottled water and cookies as well as cotton pads and cotton buds in the bathroom.

There is nothing that I didn't like about my stay.

Dalesgate Lodge is a nice quiet place to stay, it is very clean and comfortable. The breakfast has a good variety and the cooked food is delicious.

We were two older female friends and although the twin room was a little on the small size. there was ample storage for our luggage.
