Really good location, about 15/20 minute walk from the Nord Metro Station , great facilities, easily accessible by taxi! Rooms were decent couldn’t complain to be honest

When we got there the lady on front desk was not very welcoming and seemed a bit moody, also checkin was very late

We came at 12:00 and asked for room that was booked. It has to be ready at 15:00. We was back from city at 18:00 and was any clean rooms. There works just 1 person - kitchen,bar, reception, cleaning. Room was with dirty floor, linen not ironed, not enough light in bathroom, broken coffe machine with trash inside. It was double price for pride stay. I really angry. To metro walk more than 10 min. Neigborhood doesn’t look safe and attractive- I can say that it’s located nowhere.

Hotel is well conected with the city by public transport. Breakfast was good and the staff was kind. Hotel offers free drink for first time stay, which is a nice guesture.

Beds are not really comfortable and the overal desing needs some refreshment. The entrance doors are very squeaky, which can easily be solved by lubricating the hinges. The price per night is too expensive for what hotel offers.

We spent 2 nights at Bastion Noord Amsterdam. It's quite far from the station on foot, but if that's all there was to it. We paid 235€ per night without breakfast but at that price we couldn't afford that luxury. We reached the room on the 1st floor by a staircase, rather steep especially with luggage. Finally, we reached the place, paid so much and it turns out to be extremely cramped, the bathroom too; the sink is microscopic and it's difficult not to flood your feet when you brush your teeth. The shower is held together with tape. The window of the room is a murderer's hole, the hotel has tried to trick us by putting up large curtains but they hide the wall... The sheets underneath are not big enough, they overflow quickly and you end up on the mattress, not very hygienic. Finally the cleaning has to be done in 30 seconds in each room: we found a bath sheet that had been left on the bed and was carelessly thrown on the dusty radiator by the cleaning lady, the nespresso capsules were not replaced by new ones and the dirty cups were left next to the coffee machine. Frankly, I am furious, this hotel is lamentable, not at all up to the standard of the other hotels of the chain. It does not deserve 3 stars at all and the price is not at all in relation with the service rendered. I am very unhappy and feel like I have been cheated.
