Loved the balcony with the sea view

The localization is very good, the rooms are beautiful and the bed is very confy. The staff is nice and helpfull.

Its a bit noisy at night with the noise from bars in the neighbourhood but we were able to slep. There is no terrace and we stay on the first floor and had no view for the ocean.

The room was like an apartment, it was soooo beautiful, the decor is class and the noise of the waves is beautiful all night. Spotlessly clean and staff were lovely, check in was easy, location perfect

We loved everything. The only thing I'd say which is outside the owners control is occasional street noise from the busy alley- we stayed 4 nights and it was always quiet by midnight, and did not disturb our kids who slept at 9pm, but if you are a very sensitive sleeper it might annoy you

As I booked 2 different apartments at one stay my first bright impressions have already been expressed ( duplex apartment) this one has a particularly spectacular view of the wild Atlantic . Splendid! I will return again to stay in this very place!

First and foremost I know I would definitely return to revisit essaouira and to stay with these truly hospitable people hosting me in this absolutely charming apartments hotel. I did enjoy the ethnic design of this 2 storey apartment with the fascinating stained glasses that make the room look different depending on the time of the day. Sparkling clean everywhere. Mohammed is utterly helpful and caring , you can’t take such things for granted when you are in a foreign country and feel at a loss at times. Along with Nora they make this place one of a kind. The center of old Médina, the port and a fish market are all at a 5 mins distance. I highly recommend the hotel and even envious for those who are coming to stay here now!:))

The ocean view rooms are pretty spectacular. At low tide you'll see a handful of people wandering through the tide pools. At high tide you'll enjoy blow holes right outside your window. We never cooked, but it seemed everything necessary was available. We did use the fridge and dishes. There were light switches at the head of the bed. The space is well used and beautifully designed. Table was in front of the stained glass windows,

It would have been nice to have a pug nearer the bed.

The view is really amazing, the place is so clean and with all the facilities to enjoy your trip. Also it's in the Medina, close to all the markets and you can enjoy the sunset from your window.

Good location facing the sea, easy to find from the main square. Good starting point to visit the harbor and the medina. Very nice room decoration.

There's a bar at the lower level, some smoke coming up the stairs sometimes.

This family run Dar offers a glimpse of Essaouria's merchant past. Our Junior Suite (traditional decor) was spectacular with two double doors opening directly above the city walls with views of the port and the crashing waves. There is no need to look for other rooftop venues! The bedroom alcove has a double bed with 2 lounges on either side, comfortable for small children to sleep. The oversized living room has longer narrow lounges where an adult can sleep, and listen to the waves. Excellent WiFi in the apartment. Be aware this apartment is located up 3 flights of a narrow winding staircase. The hosts are very gracious, with warm hearts. I especially appreciated breakfast, excellent coffee and fresh orange juice, along with either pancakes, omelets, and a croissant.

The first floor is open to customers for billiards, coffee, tea, and cigarettes. It is a place to linger away the hours. One needs to walk through this space in order to access the stairway. Due to this, my ratings were lower, however I understand the intent to offer travelers a nice place to hang out.
