I read a lot of reviews before deciding to book. I think if you know what your expectations are, this fits the bill. The shared bathrooms weren't fantastic, but I've seen a lot worse. The dorm beds were fine, but a fellow traveler used two mattresses to feel more comfortable. Being able to swim right off the property and see sunrise/sunset was absolutely worth staying here. Breakfast was filling, and I appreciated the fresh fruit.

Restaurant had limited hours. Hard to navigate in the dark once the lights were out. Bring a flashlight!

location is right in the water! They have a kayaks for you to use free of charge and even a little beach.

no air-conditioning and it was very humid and stuffy. There is a fan in the room but at times it is not enough to keep up. It could use some repairs in places

Motu Iti was a great place to stay! I'm not sure why the rating isn't higher. You can get a beachfront hut for the best price on the island. Now, you need to know in advance that there is no A/C and no Breakfast included with the beach or garden hut rentals. But it was comfortable enough with open windows and the fan running. And, you have a mini fridge for drinks and small snacks. The beach is gorgeous, and the dock is a great place to hang out. The wifi worked great. I was out exploring the Island during most meal times but the one thing I ordered from the restaurant was tasty. I would absolutely return here whenever I'm back in Moorea! The staff was so nice and helpful, too. Hope to see you all again!

It is a total black hole when it is dark. there is not even light outside in common area.

It’s near the lagoon. You can access it from a wood trail gazebo. I have seen a gentle shark and many fishes.

the location is lovely, it has a jetty that goes out into the lagoon that you can snorkel and swim off, the breakfast that was included in the price was really nice

one of the staff wasn’t the most friendly but the 2 ladies were, it doesn’t have a safe/locker to keep you valuables in, it is very simple which I was happy with but if you are more high maintenance it’s probably not for you

the location is AMAZING. you are right on the waterfront with a pontoon that goes out into the water that you can go snorkelling from. The breakfast is included in the price and lovely and plentiful (papaya, pineapple, avocado, baguette, jam, butter, tea/coffee/hot chocolate, and a juice).

they don’t provide mosquito nets. luckily I had my own but if you don’t you will be bitten a lot.

Friendly staff, perfect location in front of the beach. nice place to snorkel with a view of the Hilton ans about a one minute drive away.

Toilet is a hole, when I saw the place I run away. The room is no room, is a rooftop with no doors or windows. I left as soon as I arrived. The woman in reception is careless and when I asked for help to get out of the property she refused to help.

if you didn’t check into dorm room early you didn’t get a fan!🙁 they need more fans maybe less beds? they weren’t all taken the night I was there but if they had been it would not have been so great.

Location was good

The owner forced us to pay in cash saying the amount was too small (6100 xpf) Even restaurants accept credit card for an order above 2500 so that doesn't make sense.

floor inside the room is not stay 😫when you walk on it , lots of sound which can waking you up. bathroom is complete function, no hot water when you need.

It is literally at the seaside! You can see the sunsets from the pier and take the free kayak out to explore in the morning. There is also a restaurant on the site so you can have your meals right in there. I was using the restaurant tables for working during the daytime. The WiFi was very good there!

The dormitory room above the reception is very very basic. There are not even lockers for your things. It is open to nature so all the street sounds are gonna enter the room early in the morning (it gets quite loud). The closest shop is quite far - it took me an hour to walk there. The food in the restaurant is very basic...

The free breakfast was very good. Everyday I had one fresh banana, two slices of pineapple, hot chocolate, juice and baguette. I liked that you have direct access to the ocean and it's just a few steps away. The house over the water was very cool, where you could spend the time.

One night they put 22 beds instead of the 12 beds in the dorm room. Every bed had a person. That was horrible! And that they do it in Corona times. Unbelievable! And cleaning the bathroom? That's nothing they do. The bathroom was during my 4 nights stay always dirty. They didn't clean it.

Great location for snorkeling. Love the hospitality of Herongi. She is very kind and watching out for the guests. Very pleased with my three days vacation here.

Will be helpful if there is minimal kitchen facilities such as water kettle/ microwave, cup, plate, and silverware.
