o pequeno almoço é muito completo, com vários produtos frescos feitos na Quinta. os iogurtes, sumos de laranja e bolos são excelentes. a varanda permite usufruir de uma vista espetacular.
Infelizmente durante a nossa estadia o espaço "Tim's Terrace" estava fechado devido ao elevado calor que se fazia sentir. Compreendemos perfeitamente (uma vez que utiliza um forno a lenha), ficamos apenas com pena de não poder almoçar lá pois o restaurante Cozinha da Clara apenas servia refeições mais completar.

We stayed five nights at Quinta de la Rosa and it was perfect. Our room was in Amarella cottage a few minute walk from the main house which was lovely and had its own pool! Food at the restaurant was great including Tim’s Terrace. Also it’s only a short 10 minute walk into Pinhao where there are more restaurants, bars and boat trips and the train station.

Beautiful setting looking over the Duoro River and terraced vineyards! Breakfasts were fantastic, or just coffee on our private patio was relaxing. Wine tour was fun and informative. Finally, the staff was wonderful! Thank you Anna for all your help!

We loved everything about this stay! There are two excellent restaurants on property - one for lunch and one for dinner. This helps immensely if you’ve got decision fatigue from being in one of Portugal’s bigger cities prior to heading into the Douro valley. The option to include breakfast with your stay should be the easiest choice you make while booking. The food variety and quality was exceptional. Better than any brunch you’ve had in the states and it comes with an amazing view of the river. The view was picturesque from every part of Quinta de la Rosa. I honestly cried a bit leaving here because it was the most lovely, relaxing part of our trip.

Wine tour was great. A unique location with exceptional views. Fantastic breakfast with views. Dinner was very good with a very good quality restaurant on site. Staff were warm and very helpful.

An extraordinary place, with excellent service, exquisite Port wines, and an outstanding restaurant. It's not inexpensive, but that yourself, it's worth it! We totally fell in love with the place and the people.

The facilities and the view. The room was large and well appointed. The bed was comfortable. We had a lovely dinner in the restaurant, though service was slow, and took the cellar tour which was very interesting.
This was not an issue for us as we had a car, but the hotel/ winery is around 2 km on the other side of the river from the town.
Breakfast was basic, we had better in other Portuguese hotels. There was one two slice domestic toaster which meant you had the queue to toast bread. The hot options were limited to scrambled, boiled or fried eggs - with a small plate of pre-cooked cold bacon on the buffet. Given the price it was not really worth it, though there are very limited alternatives in Pinhao.

Location was great, the area was so beautiful! Staff were really friendly. I felt like the room and overall property were much prettier than the pictures on booking.com when we booked. The food at the restaurant was great and prices weren’t bad. Lovely quiet pool area. Very easy access to Pinhao
Pool was freezing even though the weather was lovely, so definitely not able to swim! The facilities were great but there wasn’t really anywhere to go for drinks during the day outside of the restaurant hours - there was a terrace for food but this was only open 1pm-6pm so a shame there was no other space dedicated to having drinks with a lovely view or even a port tasting! The breakfast staff were quite unfriendly every morning, staff at dinner were much friendlier but seemed to be quite stretched - they could have done with more help to make the service more efficient and attentive.

Loved that it was a working vineyard but it was still relaxed vibe. The staff was so good and went above and beyond. We felt very spoiled. The location is perfect and the views spectacular. The meal at the restaurant was delicious.

Location and views from our room overlooking the Douro and Pinhao village were outstanding. The hillside gardens and pool area are beautiful too.

Pinhao town nearby is lovely, especially the station and its mosaic tiles. Lovely atmosphere in this secluded and magical spot. The approach from the north down the steep winding road is simply stunning.
Parking a bit limited. Get there early!
Walk to and from our room a bit steep and tiring.
Disappointed they couldn't accommodate us for a winery tour and winetasting. We should have pre-booked.

Well located to the town core. Restaurant was excellent and the veal was exceptional. Grape stomping was a fun experience and the “stomping staff” were very hospitable. All round great experience.

Our stay at Quinta de la Rosa was amazing. Gorgeous location, property, rooms & facilities. The staff were all very friendly & accommodating. A special thank you to Maria who was our guide for the cellar tour; she was excellent, so knowledgable and made the experience so enjoyable for us. The wine cellar tour & wine tasting was a highlight during our stay as was the gorgeous pool open to guests. The restaurants were very good and a decent amount of pescatarian/vegetarian options were available. Breakfast exceeded our expectations as well.
There was one instance where cleaning staff proceeded to unlock and enter our room to clean while we were in there relaxing mid-day. This was a little bit disturbing as I would think they should knock first just in case... Otherwise, everything was lovely and met our expectations.
Remember to make reservations well ahead of time for dinner and the wine cellar tour/tasting as it does not operate like other resorts which don't require reservations by guests.

Excellent - don't think it could have been any better
Please refer to my comments already made upon check out. So disappointing that we couldn't buy a bottle of the house red at Tim's Terrace because they had run out - at a vineyard!
Also would have liked prior notification of available wine tours as no available slots upon arrival. Otherwise excellent in every way!
