We loved the property it was very pretty

Place was beautiful but we needed to clean upon arrival. Kitchen counters and dishes were filthy. Everything was dusty and hadn’t been vacuumed. Living room couch stained and broken. View was spectacular. Masterbedroom was nice. This place has a lot of potential but I wouldn’t recommend it as is.

Calm and peaceful, had a wonderful stay with my family.

The pictures featured the best this cabin had to offer. As expected from reviews, no wood for firepit, no water cooler and the house water was a bit offensive even though we live in a home with well water! The access to to the cabin was easy, nice lakefront spot and very quiet. Beach was lacking at the cabin, but walked along in front of neighbors and to near the marina. Overall the kids liked exploring the beach down the way and it was a good getaway from school, work and making family memories. Access to tv, wifi was perfect for rainly & teen time. Great area to dine together, play games and socialize in open living area. The hot tub was a bit old, slight odor to it and sadly had some sand in it although instructions were clear to shower prior to use. Thank you for the experience of cabin life on the lake!

Enjoyed a relaxing family weekend in beautiful lake front cottage with 4 adults and two happy dogs. Jamie was a welcoming host who stayed at another cottage within walking distance. Hot tub was a nice touch, had a few fires and enjoyed the nearby fireworks show over the lake. Short drive to Gimli to pick up dinner one night and walk the pier and visit a few local shops. Lots of room and comfortable living space. A nice little extra would have been to have some wood included so we could have had a fire in the pit. Also not good drinking water, would have been more convenient to have a water cooler in the kitchen instead of carting bottled water.

The place was huge and clean. We enjoyed our stay especially the hot tub, perfect for the chilly evenings. Would recommend coming in here! ☺️

We truly enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The big windows and the lake view were awesome, even if it was cooler outside at times. The hot tub was a great hit. The appliances were new, clean, and worked great. A clothes dryer rack would have been great for the towels after using the hot tub, but the dryer did the job, too. I'm glad I brought some larger cooking pots for our family of 9. We all enjoyed our stay a lot!

We booked this cottage for our employees to stay while working in the area. It was nice to have four beds and a hot tub to enjoy for their stay. The property is in a quiet cottage area... with a Spectacular view of the lake. It is nice to have a hot tub to Enjoy. Jamie was great to communicate with. Excellent instructions.

The location was great and the cabin was very comfortable to accommodate 7 people and three dogs. The kitchen is quite well equipped and easy to have multiple people cooking in. Just a little more upkeep (some repairs are needed) and attention to detail (beds made with no top sheets, lots of cobwebs on deck furniture) would be great. Not the owners fault, but the high water levels made the water access difficult for my aging parents who have mobility issues (beach access was why we picked in the first place), and mosquitoes were terrible, making it nearly impossible to enjoy the outside in the evening. Owner was very easy to reach and great to communicate with.

Rented this property with my husband and 2 adult children. Home was large and comfortable, set right on the lake with a lovely view. Everything we needed for an enjoyable time. Cleanliness could be improved however. Kitchen is aging, mattress covers are stained and hot tub maintenance could be better.

This cabin exceeded our expectations. We went here for our honeymoon and we hope to come back again with friends. Jamie was very easy to contact and made the whole process very smooth. The cabin was large and was equipped with everything we needed. We loved the hot tub and the large sectional couch in front of the smart TV. You really can’t beat the location either, being right on the water and only being 15 minutes north of Gimli. Hope to be back soon!

It is a very quiet location, a lovely spacious house, all amenities were provided, host was easy to communicate with and the view of Lake Winnipeg is stunning.

This was a lovely place to stay for a girls getaway. Gorgeous views and spacious. Kitchen was very well stocked and Jamie was helpful in answering our questions. We had a fantastic time there and will treasure our time spent together. A few improvements could make this 5 stars. Food residue (?) was left on some some of the surfaces; we did feel a need to wipe down counters and tables on arrival. There were no top sheets on some of the beds; we would have felt more comfortable sleeping under a clean sheet. One of the blankets in the upstairs bedroom closet had an unpleasant stain on it - we left it out for the cleaners when we left. The tiles are falling off the wall by the hot tub… not ideal to have them falling while using the hot tub or moving the cover. Hope this helps the owners make someone else’s stay even better! We would certainly return.

Rental has a lovely view through floor to ceiling windows. It was really comfortable and spacious.

This property and location were as described! Very relaxing weekend for our family getaway, would highly recommend and revisit! Our host was very prompt with any inquiries, and the check in and check out instructions were clear and easy to follow.

Perfect getaway

We rented this cottage for a little ice fishing get-away. There is great fishing nearby at Riverton & Gimli. The cabin is well-appointed with a well equipped kitchen and large bedrooms. The hot tub was a great bonus, it was nice to relax in after a long day on the ice. Communication was great - Jamie was very quick to respond whenever we had questions. Will definitely stay here again, looking forward to checking it out in the summer time!

This is a lovely property right on Lake Winnipeg. We loved the windows and views. There is lots of space to relax inside and plenty of shoreline to explore. We had an excellent weekend here. Suitable for either family or friends getaway.

Have been to Jamie's place many times and always enjoy our stay. Love the updates this year and the stairs to the beach were a great addition. All the comforts of home plus more. Jamie is awesome and always available if needed. We'll definitely return !

This was an outstanding property with a GREAT lake front location on Lake Winnipeg. Clean Beautiful and Spacious A-Frame with great bedrooms and two bathrooms. Wonderful dining area off of very well equipped and extremely usable kitchen, also a nice propane BBQ. Relaxing sitting area off of dining area with comfortable couches looking through an all window front. Super Deck out front of A-Frame looking out over the lake with plenty of chairs and a table. A large lawn area for our dogs and lawn games. A large garage to use for storing and cleaning up our paddleboards. 2 full sized fridges and a refreshment fridge. A great hot tub room off the side of the kitchen leading to the deck. A metal staircase down to a small but wonder little sand beach. Very close to Gimli for shopping and picking up items if necessary. A truly relaxing and wonderful experience. The owner was very communicative providing additional directions to get the property - they were very useful. The rules/regulations were very clearly laid out and reasonable. All in all a GREAT Time. If you are looking for a relaxing quiet spot on the lake I highly recommend this site. THANK YOU! We definitely would consider returning.

Print off a map and it's easy. Fresh fish at the processing plant down the road should not be missed, cheap and delicious. Going for a walk around the development is relaxing and a chance to see what other cottages are like. Remember a vacation is what you make of it, and with this property you are off to a great start.
