My team stayed at this home as we completed some maintenance tasks such as washing machine replacement, dryer servicing, and track lighting fixture replacement. The place was clean and beds were very comfortable. Enjoyed sitting on the deck overlooking the ocean, watching the sunset, while cracking a cold one.

We stayed here in the off-season, in April and really a great location. Most of the property is in excellent condition. The only issue we had was Faucet in kitchen was really loose, didn’t get hot water through until last day and bathrooms could use a refresh or update. Also, 1/2 of the chairs for dining table were unusable. Besides that, plenty of space in the living room to hang out with family, play games, watch the sunset. Would be absolutely stunning in the summer, view was spectacular. Really should be five star, but the bathroom and the problem with the kitchen faucet made me make it a 4, would have done 4 1/2 if I could.

This property is perfect for a large group--it's very roomy and well-equipped. The neighborhood is quiet, but within walking distance to the beach and boardwalk. Clean and as advertised. We gathered here with family for our daughter's USCGA graduation week and it was everything we needed for the group.

Our crew of 4 had a pool resurfacing job in Waterford. This home exceeded all of our needs and more. Was a great location to come back to after long days of laboring. Very clean and spacious. Had plenty of cooking items and new fresh linens included. Balcony has awesome view of the ocean, especially in morning. Gigantic flat screen to watch the NBA playoffs in living room! Recommend this property!

We enjoyed this spot. It is very close to Ocean Beach State Park and not too far from other amenities located in downtown.

Easy process . Exactly as listed this property enjoyed by all. Great for low season rental, beach would be too crowed on weekends and summer .

We took the house to reconnect with our daughter & S-I-L, after not seeing them for 14 months due to COVID - and it was perfect. Very clean and uncluttered - big open living/dining/kitchen space with sliding doors to sun-drenched deck - incredible view of LI Sound, beach and boardwalk just across the street. And, with 4BR - plenty of room to WFH. The house was well-appointed, and there were ample soaps, cleansers, and paper products to keep it clean & neat all week. (We've been to other properties where there was nary a napkin to be had, let alone dish & laundry detergent!) Although we didn't need, there were extra linens & towels available, along with a compliment of beach chairs & towels (alas, in April it barely tipped 55 degrees, so no picnics on the beach - but blissfully quiet and peaceful). Utopia was very thorough with requisite instructions and responsive to the few questions that arose through the week. We had a great time.

We had a great stay at this beautiful home. It exceeded our expectations. The home is awesome. Plenty of room and very clean. The location was great. We spent time walking the beach and enjoying the view from the deck. We will be back!

I travel around the CT area in the winter for work doing home renovations. Our team had stayed at the hose which was huge. Two giant TV's in the living room with large couches and another TV downstairs in a bedroom. The home had plenty of soaps, shampoo/conditioner and body wash. Didn't need to bring our own. Was very well stocked with towels and extra linens (but we didn't need to change the sheets). The kitchen was full of new pots/pans, baking items, and utensils which was great for cooking our meals. House was very spacious and the hosts were very responsive. Thank you Utopia for your hospitality. There is nothing like waking up to the sunrise overlooking the Ocean. We also tried Ocean Pizza Restaurant down the road, and they have the best shrimp scampi platter that is enough for leftovers the next day. 5 STAR PROPERTY AND HOSPITALITY!

Kitchen and living room area great for a large family get together. View of the ocean from the balcony was very relaxing. Very short walk to beach. I would consider renting again, maybe next time the washing machine can be moved to garage next to dryer.

This house is simply beautiful! The views are breathtaking even in February. I can only imagine how perfect it is during the summer months. There was plenty of room for all. Having use of a garage for our car was so great as the weather changed over the weekend we were there - so truly an added benefit!The open kitchen / island / living room (with 2 large couches and 2 large flat screen TVs) made for the perfect setting to entertain a few friends who stopped by to see the place!Communication with the owners was exceptional. I had several questions leading up to our stay, and had to ask a question or two during - responses were near real time on the VRBO message board for the listing. Everything though was ready for us, layout great, with normal household amenities and advice from the owners as to what we may wish to bring if needed. Which was pretty much only a cocktail shaker!Highly recommend. Wish I could work from there for the rest of the winter!Thank you - it truly was our pleasure to stay!RJM

Family and I stayed here during holiday visit with family. House was well-equipped with everything we might need. Plenty of space and sofas were very comfortable. Check in process was easy and communication from management company was excellent.

first I would like to start out by thanking this host for creating such an amazing home, and for being so welcoming / responsive. From cleanliness, to ample amount of space for guests to vacation comfortably, the view.. etc everything was perfect The neighborhood was safe and very charming; we walked our dog scrappy every morning while enjoying beautiful water views. I cannot wait to rent this home in the summer and take my children to the beach which is less than 5 minutes walk away from your front door step. Thank you Utopia!!

We enjoyed our stay at this house due to its proximity to Ocean Beach. Originally 14 of us were to come but due to the quarantine restrictions of people entering Ct. from states on the quarantine list only 5 of us came.This house with its 6 queen beds provided plenty of room for 5 but would have been crowed for if 14 of us had come. The kitchen area has nice cabinets and has a nice island but does not have adequat seating for more than 8. Another table would be a good addition.The kitchen also needs a new stove and refrigerator. One back burner was not working and the other burners and oven cooked food slowly. The refrigerator had 2 broken draws and no ice machine. The outside back yard has not been mowed all summer with bushes growing up. This area if maintained would make a good area to sit in especially when the hot sun is on the porch as there is no shade on the porch. The front lawn was also not mowed and plantings not taken care of. Also the small charcoal grill was inadequate and full of old wet charcoal so could not be used.

Such easy booking process and the pictures on website are quite accurate. Beach is closer than appears in pictures. House was very clean and spacious for 10. And was suppled well except for the barbecue grill, which was small. I also feel the main bathroom's tub area was a little dangerous.

Nice weekend getaway. Lovely view of the water from the front deck and living room. Busy park between the house and the beach created some unwanted noise. Not bad, just noisier than we like. Easy walk to the beach. Beds very comfortable. A nice beach stay for seven of us.

The floor was so dirty our feet were black. Bedding wasn’t clean. There were no beach passes. The immediate area is nice but the surrounding area leaves much to be desired.

There was so much room in this house! Plenty for a large group and a gorgeous view!

We gave the owner a 5 for communication because although we didn’t speak directly, the directions e-mailed to us were clear. The web site accurately depicted the property. While not ocean front (actually a park in between the house and ocean). it is about a 1 minute walk for access.

We appreciated gathering here. We had everything we needed for our family reunion.

My family and I stayed here for Thanksgiving, with extended family at a different house around the corner. This house was absolutely perfect for everyone to gather. The upstairs kitchen area is enormous, with 2 massive couches, a totally open concept kitchen/living room, and a huge deck directly facing the ocean... the beach is probably 200 feet away! We were able to eat and gather together without tripping all over each other. It was truly a fabulous few days thanks to the perfect space offered in this house. We will definitely be back, hopefully in the summer, to take full advantage of the amazing beachfront location!

This house was all the owner said it was. Looking out on the ocean in the morning was gorgeous, watching the ferries go back and forth. If I came here in warmer weather, I don't think I would leave the deck. We had plenty of room for everyone for our family gathering. The kitchen is very spacious (loved it), but could use a few more pots and pans to cook for a large group. Loved watching the Bruins on the huge television! Property manager was very thoughtful and kind. Would love to come back here in the summer!

Spacious beach house across the street from the beach. Everything about our stay was excellent. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We are 3 MATURE women so some of the back-and-forth “computer-lingo” was a little hard to decipher. Having said that, the house was just as described! We hope to stay about this time next year, if not sooner. It’s a shame that a city the size of New London doesn’t participate in recycling. We weren’t sure how to separate the trash, it turns out it all went into 1 truck.

We had a wonderful week at Ocean Beach. The house was clean and the kitchen was well equipped. The view from the deck is amazing. And the coach out there is perfect for an afternoon snooze (under the nice umbrella). The owner was very responsive and easy to get in touch with. The location is ideal- walking distance to the beach and my kids had a great time on the boardwalk (splash area for toddler, mini golf for older one). We really enjoyed the area and there were a lot of activities to do with kids aside from the beach (mystic aquarium, dinosaur park, old mystic, ice cream!). Would definitely come back!

Our family had a delightful stay at Constantine's house. Very clean and roomy. Great beds and entertainment. Very close to the beach and wonderful views.
