The house has a great layout with beautiful outdoor areas and stunning views of the surrounding mountains. The garden is also beautifully kept, exactly what you want after a day hiking. I England were playing in the Euros and the host family put the game on and we watched it together. Incredibly friendly, highly recommend

Everything from head to toe was just magnificent. Eliko, the host, is an incredible woman which helped us with everything we needed and then some more.
The food is delicious and in abundance, the ambient is fantastic and I would love to come back here some day.

Very welcoming host, nice and very clean home & stunning views from the terrace. Food was the best & cheapest we had on the trek. Also having a/c was an amazing bonus in such hot weather. Thanks gogia!

After a long 1st day hike on the Mestia - Ushguli trek we were very happy to arrive at Gogia, the property is very modern with amazing views from the balcony. The beds were comfortable and most of all the best thing about this place was the amazing food and the quantity of it, all home made and fresh. We were also provided lunch bags to pack up left overs from the huge breakfast for the hike.
Not much English is spoken however we met the owners nephew who spoke English and told us all about the history of the area and the buildings :)
The shower head was broken when we were there so you had to hold it but this was our only gripe.

Guest House Gogia was our favorite of the places we stayed on our hike from Mestia to Ushguli. The owners are super friendly, warm-hearted and genuine people who really care about their guests, and this was evident throughout our experience there. Our room was comfortable, the bathroom was spotlessly clean, a washing machine, line and pegs were provided, there were lovely chill-out spaces (a garden patio with a swing and seating, seats on the upstairs balcony), and tea and coffee were available at any time. Dinner was delicious and so plentiful that we saved the leftovers for breakfast the next morning.
There was nothing not to like.

We checked-in quite late after a full-day hiking, giving short notice for dinner. Nonetheless, that was the best dinner we had in our full two weeks in the country. Breakfast was up to the same standard. Rooms are large, clean and comfort and the whole place is kept very tidy and nice. Thanks and see you next year!

Absolutely amazing guesthouse in Zhabeshi. Exceeded expectations in all areas, hospitality, location and food. The guesthouse and food were both hands down the best we had during the trek to Ushguli! Highly recommend:)

Its a beautiful guest house, with lovely bedrooms, very sizeable bathroom (shared). We were greeted on arrival by Elena who made us tea and served some khachapuri and biscuits. The shower was good and hot and facilities spotless. And Elena had a heater in the hall and one in the bathroom too. Both dinner and breakfast were superb, with a good array of dishes and even a glass of wine with dinner. This was one of my favourite guest houses while hiking over from Chuberi (Kvemo Marghi).

Beautiful, clean, and comfortable home in Zhabeshi. We were lucky to have the place to ourselves when we stopped for the night on our hike to Ushguli. The nicest bathroom we experienced on the trek. Incredibly delicious home-cooked breakfast and dinner - some of the best we experienced in all of Georgia!

Everything was perfect.
I had two meal there, both were yummy and well-prepared
Even it was located in the remote village, but the heating machine worked fine
They also offered free laundry service.
Once I was there, the washing machine did not work on the second floor where I stayed
so the owner helped me do it on the first floor and I tried waiting until the washing machine was finished, but The long hiking made me slept a little bit. after I woked up and opened the washing machine but there was not my washing, cause The owner hung out the washing on a drying rack even though I never asked her.

The people were very sweet, food very tastfull (way better than other guest houses we have been during our hike from Mestia to Ushguli). Also great shower and attentive host! Could ohly give this place 5/5 stars!

Nice facility. Owners don’t speak English but are friendly. Great balcony. Dinner and breakfast around 45 GEL in total. Would definitely recommend.
