This place is amazing. We watched the sunset every night, million dollar views

This home is spectacular! From the moment we walked through the foyer we felt immersed in vacation in paradise. it only got better as we walked to the beautiful Lanai with stunning views of the Pacific ocean, pool, hot tub and multiple inviting and relaxing spaces to enjoy. The firepit was awesome to watch sunsets, enjoy Mai Tai's and Blue Hawaiin drinks, and enjoy conversations with our family and friends. The owners left lots of essentials for us to use like laundry detergent and bath soaps. The kitchen had everything we needed for our simple cooking and when we treated ourselves to a gourmet chef night, Chef Kerstin Pfeiffer with Bon Vivant cooked us a delectable dinner ending with Bananas Foster! Heather the property manager was wonderful to reach out to with our questions and for advice we needed to enjoy our stay. She was always quick to respond even on weekends. The owners Tamyra and Doug were understanding and gracious about what our group needed to enjoy our stay. We appreciate all the choices and love they put into making every room in their home feel like you were in paradise. The Master Bedroom Suite with separate walk in closet and Master bath was heavenly including indoor and outdoor showers! We had a very memorable three week vacation in paradise. We left reluctantly but with our hearts filled with great joy! Mahalo to Tamyra, Doug, and Heather!!!

Love the property. Has everything you would want. We have been coming to the island for over 42 years a couple of times a year and occasionally rent a house. This is the best property we have ever rented. I highly recommend it to everyone. Greg

We loved staying in this beautiful home for a week. It has everything one would need including a Tiki Bar, games, puzzles and a spectacular view. Unfortunately we experienced a rare storm for four days but it was great to be stuck in a covered area and watch the rain. In a hotel room, we would have gone crazy. We will return.

My wife and I spend a few weeks each year in Kona to escape the weather back home. This house didn't disappoint. The view is fantastic. We usually go downtown to watch the sunset but we didn’t need to do that from here. Drinks on the patio and a 180 degree view with no crowd :) Rooms are comfortable. House is well stocked. Local manager was easy to work with answered all of our questions quickly. Convenient 4 minute drive to the store but the gated community felt extremely safe. Sad to have to go home.

Our hosts were wonderful. They made booking and check-in easy. They even left us a delicious pineapple and welcome card. The home is large, cozy and well decorated with an understated Hawaiian theme. The location just outside of Kona-Kialua and near the airport, made it easy to explore while being near great seaside restaurants and excursions galore. We even made it to Volcanoes National Park for a day trip. But by far, the best part of the home was the lanai. The view was simply beautiful all of the time. I watched the sunrise and set over the ocean every single day we were there. The outdoor furniture, pool, spa and view had us outside whenever we were at the house. The kids swam in the pool every day. We had the best vacation, full of adventure, relaxing, and good food.

What an amazing property! My family had a fabulous Christmas holiday stay. Each morning we woke up to a beautiful sunrise, each evening we watched a stunning sunset. This house is spacious yet cozy, we felt like we were staying with our favorite relatives, nicely decorated with a Hawaiian theme and an extensive art collection. The backyard pool area is beautiful … perfectly landscaped. While it is close to many attractions, it has a very secluded feel.

I stayed here for Ironman race week and another week after with my family of seven. We had plenty of room and everything we needed in this beautiful home in a very nice gated community. The pool and hot tub overlooking the Pacific Ocean was breathtaking and it kept the kids busy. Everyone was very impressed with the place! We had great communication with Heather throughout our stay and she answered questions and followed up promptly when needed. Will stay here again!

We wife and I have been coming to Big Island twice a year for the past 41 years. We love the Kailua area. We have made many friends here over the years. After staying in hotels or condos for 25 years we began renting homes and staying longer. Many of the homes we rented were in this same community. This HOME is by far the nicest we have ever rented. The view with all the amenities makes this worth it. The view from the back patio is amazing, ocean view with palm trees. Owners were prompt with responses and so considerate. House was very clean and it is beautiful in an amazing neighborhood. Everything you need to cook at house, and having dinner on the patio with an amazing sunset! Did I mention the sunsets! The most adventurous aspect was parking. Very steep driveway, best to back down and once you do it a few times it gets easier. Did I mention the sunsets, and in the summer it is perfectly viewed from the hot tub. We kept windows and doors opened all times we were home and the ocean breeze was enough to keep house comfortable with no need for air conditioning. Make sure you tour chocolate and coffee farms, go hiking, visit beaches. We watched a Luau at fairmont resort, all you can eat and drink and luau seemed authentic. Also, Canoe house has most amazing atmosphere for dinner on the beach, food was scrumptious, but very expensive, but worth it. So go enjoy Hawaii!

The house is fantastic with a Million Dollar view and a backyard oasis. Perfect size for 5 people to stretch out and enjoy their space, especially with two 16 year olds. I would definitely recommend this house and will hopefully be back in the future.

The backyard at night is magical with the tiki torches and landscaping.. Don't miss the the sunsets!

If you're considering staying here, stop hesitating and book! The pictures don't do it justice, if you can believe it. It's cozy and comfy inside, and the pool, patio, and spa are amazing. The fridge had all the condiments so you don't have to stock up on that, plus it was quite large, which was great for our group of 7. We ate breakfast at the house, and had everything we needed in terms of dishes to cook that, and then often did poké or other takeout for lunch if we weren't out at the beach or Volcanoes National Park or shopping. There's plenty nearby. The property manager was very responsive throughout. We plan to return in 2023 to the same house, that's how much we loved it.

South of Kona is a new area to stay for us but neither the home or area disappointed. The property pictures represent very well and the home was very clean and well organized. Many local spots for dinner and you’re a short drive to many lesser known and less crowded beaches. My girls loved the pool and we really enjoyed the property. We’d stay here again.

This property was absolutely lovely. The home was spacious and worked well for our party of six. The homeowners did communicate with us prior to our stay, that the air conditioner was pending repair. However, there were ceiling fans and additional fans in the home and while a bit warm during the day, the evenings were comfortable. Additionally, the home owners provided a discount for the lack of air conditioning and I found it to be generous. The pool/hot tub area was great...it was great to be outdoors and on the patio staring at the beautiful sunsets. We even spotted whales! Great home and I would highly recommend.

We enjoyed this property very much. It is spacious enough our whole family could stretch out and not seem crowded. The dining room is beautifully set but we didn't need it -there's a grill and a huge dining table under a covered patio for outdoor meals. Lots of chairs for lounging by the pool, in which the kids (and adults!) enjoyed splashing around. Kitchen has plenty of pots and pans for cooking and a huge gas range. Couches and beds were comfortable. 3 of the bedrooms have their own bath and there's a cool outdoor shower outside the master. Overall a great place!

The beautiful home on the Kona coast truly exceeded our expectations and was better than the photographs depicted. We loved it!

Overall, this property was great. Views were amazing, pool was great, house was spacious, location was perfect and the owners communication was quick. The reason that this house will not get 5 stars from me is due to the cleanliness. It's very cluttered with decor that is dusty and the furniture inside and out is worn. The couch arm was broken and the washer showed signs of mold which made things difficult to choose to wash my personal clothing. I would have packed different knowing that I did not have that option. For the amount charged for this house....it should absolutely not have broken dirty furniture in it.

This property is beautiful beyond words. There is an amazing ocean view out of most of the windows and a colorful sunset every evening. The house is gorgeous and clean. We are a family of six and there is plenty of room to gather together or have space to ourselves. This was a perfect place to get away from crowds and relax with family in peace and quiet and beauty. The house is just a short drive away from a shopping center with a grocery store and restaurants, etc. It is also just a short drive from a good snorkeling area and beach. I would definitely stay here again!

This is the perfect family vacation home for you and your teens. Centrally located to all things on the island. Minutes from Ali'i Drive / Kona and only 1hr 35 min to the East side and Hilo. You'll want to tell the kids to take the car and be home for dinner while you sit by the pool, sip your coffee/wine/cocktail stare into the deep blue ocean and revel in the view of the coastline from the multi-million dollar view you'll have from this homes lanai. Sunsets from this home have a front row seat so don't bother going to town. You'll want to spend more time here than venturing out and about during your trip. This home is set in a quiet upscale friendly neighborhood with all the essentials you need to make memories and have a wonderful trip to the Big Island. I highly recommend this property.

great home for our family of seven; lots of room, well equipped, elegant bedrooms. best part was the amazing pool/hot tub patio beautifully landscaped, spacious, private, with amazing views of ocean sunsets; we spent many happy hours there! we appreciated that hosts were informative & accessible.

Do not hesitate booking this beautiful home! You won't regret it! We spent 9 days at this beautiful paradise and loved every minute of it. Even if you never leave the home you'll have a perfect vacation. The pictures for this home do not even begin to show the beauty of the surroundings and the thoughtfulness that has went into makig your stay perfect. We are back from our vacation and already miss waking up to the view of the beautiful pool and ocean right outside our bedroom door. Thank you for opening your home to us. We had a wonderful time.

We stayed at the Morse Family house over Spring Break. It is in the perfect location just South of Kailua in the gated luxury of Keauhou estates. Just our family of 4. The house is impeccable inside and out. The pool is great and the outdoor hottub/spa is lovely for chilling out in the evening watching the sunsets. The house stays nice and cool during day and night with the screens open so we did not use A/C. Kitchen is well equipped for anything though we mostly ate out had a couple of homemade meals. We would love to return next year. The Morses are great owners and easy to communicate with. We had zero problems. All in all felt like home away from home and the home was paradise in paradise.

This was an awesome place to stay! We have stayed on the Big Island many times and this was our favorite house by far. There is plenty of room (we had 4 adults and 1 child, but could have accommodated at least another couple and children comfortably). The house was clean with a great layout and wonderful outdoor space; including a large pool / hot tub. The festive lighting outside really made it special. The driveway is steep, but manageable, once you learn it (and typical for the area). Tamyra / owners were great to deal with — highly responsive abd accommodating. We’ll be back!
