This property is literally on the water, close to everything yet private and away from the crowds. Waking up to waves crashing on the rocks below, or falling asleep to the rhythm of the waves is a great way to unwind. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Dans cet appartement chic et cosy, tout est beau : les murs, les meubles, la vue à travers les nombreuses fenêtres qui donnent sur la partie plus sauvage de la côte. Vous êtes les pieds dans l'eau et pourtant à deux pas des restaurants et du centre. Pour moi, plus qu'un simple logement de vacances, cet appartement a été un élément essentiel de mon séjour. Je me suis crue parfois capitaine de navire. Bref, c'était exceptionnel, et pourtant dieu sait combien je connais Collioure !

Une location qui répond précisément à nos attentes : bord de mer, maison de caractère, confort, et décorée avec goût . Idéale pour passer d’excellentes vacances !

L'appartement est splendide avec un aménagement à la fois très bien pensé, très bien organisé et vraiment très joli. Il est situé tout au-dessus de l'eau. On est donc bercé par les vagues. L'ensemble est exceptionnel.

L'appartement est remarquablement bien situé, dans le cœur historique de Collioure, les pieds dans l'eau. On dort bercé par le bruit de la mer, même une petite tempête ne dérange. Par contre les nombreux touristes qui viennent s'agglutiner toute la journée sous les fenêtres de la maison sont un peu moins agréables. Quant à l'impossibilité de garer la voiture sinon très loin de la maison pose un vrai problème. Heureusement que le concierge qui accueille a été très courtois et efficace pour nous aider à porter les bagages.

Nous terminons ce jour même notre séjour à Collioure,au château de la Rocasse, avec déjà la certitude que nous y reviendrons. La location est sublime, le propriétaire au petit soin, les attentions sont nombreuses, tout est disponible. Je n'ai jamais vu ça où que ce soit d'autre. La localisation du château,les pieds dans l'eau, avec pour vu de toutes les fenêtres, la chapelle Saint Vincent, la magnifique crique à l'eau cristalline et le bruit de la mer... Bref, pour sûr nous reviendrons, je vous dis donc à bientôt Mr et Mme Valentin.

Nous avons passé une magnifique semaine à Collioure, malgré le monde (normal, la semaine du 15 aout). Non seulement l'appartement, dans le chateau de la Rocasse, est juste fabuleux : bâtisse très ancienne au charme fou, décoration intérieure très soignée, cadre idyllique (vue mer sur toutes les fenêtres), emplacement idéal au pied des plages et du centre ville, mais malgré tout à l'abri de l'agitation (disons que le bruit des vagues suffit à couvrir celui des gens :-). Bref une atmosphère unique !! Mais aussi un vrai accueil de la part des propriétaires (trop rare de nos jours). On sent que tout est mis en oeuvre pour le confort de leurs hôtes : procédures claires et complètes, grande disponibilité et réactivité, équipement de l'appartement ultra complet et surtout plein de petites attentions très agréables et pratiques (linge de maison, produits d'entretiens, base de cuisine ...) et d'autre petites surprises que je ne dévoilerais pas ! Bravo et merci !

Wonderful feet in water apartment. This was our second time at this lovely vacation rental. We have always had a wonderful time in this apartment and plan to return as soon as possible highly recommend this apartment for anyone looking to enjoy time in Collioure.

Having the opportunity to live for a week in Chateau de la Rocasse was a special experience indeed. To be secreted away behind the thick walls of the historic building in the heart of such a beautiful town as Collioure is indeed a treat. Guy and Fabienne were delightfully helpful hosts and I felt very welcome.

We had a wonderful week. The apartment is in a fantastic location surrounded by beautiful sea views and sounds. A sandy beach is a few yards from the door and all the attractions of beautiful Collioure minutes away. We were given a warm welcome by Daniele and the apartment and equipment were all spotlessly clean. Looking forward to coming back!

We spent a wonderful two months in this lovely apartment by the sea. The owners, Guy and Fabienne , were ever so accommodating and friendly. The apartment was comfortable, immaculate and suitable for the length of stay. Bernard and Danielle who manage the apartment were also very helpful and responsive. We were pleasantly surprised when the owners also provided us with the kindest French interpreter, Dana. Collioure was as friendly as can be and we met many new friends. We look forward to returning as soon as possible.

The apartment, on the snd floor of a chateau (which was originally a convent, we understand) is ideally located. Immaculately clean, attractively furnished, comfortable beds (although a better quality of bed linens would be an improvement). Fantastic views of the Mediterranean, just outside the windows. The kitchenette, however, is problematic: The "batterie de cuisine" is something of a jumble. The work area measures 2x2 metres. In this space there are sink, cooktop, oven, and overhead cupboards. Unfortunately the oven does not work. Its replacement is a small combo microwave/convection oven--hard to program. (The instruction manual is in 7 languages, none of them English.) If you plan to eat mainly in restaurants, this would be of no importance. But if you dream of fetching back a lovely poussin from the marche for roasting, or even re-heating a pizza, you will have to give up that dream. We were unable to get the TV to work--perhaps the remote needs new batteries. Good Wi-fi connection. In general, a pleasant place to stay. Immaculately clean, and the caretake couple were extremely helpful and amicable.

Probably the ultimate Collioure location. Modern refurbished apartment with everything you might need provided, and right on the water. Will definitely be travelling from Australia to stay here again.

We had a lovely stay in the apartment, it was in the best location close to the beach, restaurants , shops. Beautiful views from the windows, have to get up and see the sun rise over the small church...stunning. Very helpful couple who greeted us. The pictures of the areas are amazing, but to be there is so much more special.The town is exquisite with narrow colourful back streets to explore,with the amazing back drop of mountains and castles. we all enjoyed swimming in the sea .I especially loved getting up and having a swim before everyone was up then going back for breakfast.. Really sad to leave . hope to be back near future. Thank you

Wir wurden sehr freundlich begrüsst und "betreut". Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet und wunderschön eingerichtet. Die Lage direkt am Meer ist sensationell. Der Badestrand liegt ebenfalls unmittelbar vor der Wohnung. Wir haben die Ferien in Collioure sehr genossen. Einziger kleiner Wehmutstropfen war, dass vor der Wohnung der immer gleiche Musiker stundenlang die immer gleichen Lieder spielt.

Nous avons passé une semaine inoubliable au Château de la Rocasse. Nos attentes étaient élevées et elles furent comblées. L'accueil chaleureux, attentionné et généreux de Fabienne et Guy a été le prélude à une semaine de rêve. La château est idéalement situé dans un des plus beaux villages de France. Il offre une vue imprenable sur la mer et la chapelle St-Vincent et les levers de soleil sont à couper le souffle. L'appartement décoré avec goût était d'une propreté impeccable, très confortable et très bien équipé. Nous n'avons manqué de rien! Le soleil, la plage et même le vent sont thérapeutiques. S'endormir au son des vagues procure un sommeil des plus réparateurs. Nous reviendrons y séjourner, c'est certain! Famille Fortin, Québec, Canada

On the waterfront, scenic, nearby restaurants and shops. We spent a wonderful three days and nights at "feet in water" and have nothing but good memories of the whole experience. Our group of four had our own little castle to ourselves, and spent most of our time within five minutes of "home", enjoying the waterfront restaurants and walking the area. The couple who manage the property were outstanding, with an informative introduction to the area and very helpful advice regarding train service and scheduling upon our leaving. Five stars plus.
