The property was well kept. Very good instructions on staying there. Beautiful view. The apartment was good. May need some tlc/ upgrades in downstairs bathroom. But for the most part great stay. Queen size room should have a tv also. Thank you for your hospitality.

Great location. Communication was excellent. Mr. Xi put a lot of effort writing check-in and check-out instructions. This let's you know that the place is safe and worth it. Plus he was always available for any questions.

We enjoyed all the amenities of this property. The view from the balcony was so beautiful. The layout was great. We wouldn’t hesitate to rent this property again.

From August 3rd to August 12, we rented this condo. I will attempt to provide an objective review of our experience. We arrived at Palmas Del Mar at about 7pm on August 3rd after a very long day of travel. Our instruction from the landlord was to call his cell phone and he would do the initial opening of the security gate to Palmanova Village where his condo is located. After several calls went unanswered I was beginning to think that we got scammed. Reading through the instructions further, we were directed to a mailbox beyond the gate that held the keys to the unit. My son in law crawled under the gate but was unable to identify the mailbox. Luckily at this point, another resident was kind enough to open the gate, and helped us to find the condo we rented, and to gain entrance to the building, where we were able to enter another code provided by the landlord and finally gain entrance to the condo. I’m not going to lie. I was VERY pissed off at how the process went, but also relieved that we had someplace to sleep that night. As a side note- Several texts and emails to the landlord from my wife, daughter and I went unanswered for 3 days, at which point the landlord wrote that he was hiking in a remote area in the states, and had no cell service. I would have hoped he would have anticipated this and made some sort of alternative plan. Now about the condo specifically. The view off the balcony is magnificent!. Once my son-in-law fixed the sliding door so we could easily gain access, this is the area we all spent most of our time. The place itself was adequately clean, but the furnishings and accessories are somewhat dated. We were comfortable though… Some other issues that presented themselves- 1- the 2 televisions in the bedrooms did not work. 2- we could not figure out how to operate the whirlpool tub 3- when it rained (we were there for tropical storm Fred) the windows in the master bedroom leaked quite a bit. One other issue- Once we were in, we were provided a FOB that controlled the front gate.It was only after we replaced the battery that it worked semi-adequately. Sometimes you had to push the buttons several times before the gate would open; There is a keyboard panel at the gate, and some type of code to enter would work better.. All in all I’d give this rental a 3.5 a rating that would have been higher had it not been for issues stated above. The landlord, did in the end make a concession as a goodwill gesture.

En general todo estuvo excelente. El único problema que tuvimos fue con el beeper, el portón tardaba en abrir en ambos lados (Entrada y salida)

The place has an amazing view. The only thing that I dislike was in the kitchen I found little , and for me that's awful. And the bed of the master bedroom needs mattress replacement urgent!. Other than those details, was pretty good. Thanks for everything.

Localidad muy buena. Vecinos amables. El porton de control de acceso tiene muy poca recepción de la señal lo que hace la entrada y salida complicada. Condiciones del apartamento muy pobre. Hongo en los baños, tuberías tapadas, desagües tapados. El matress de la cama del cuarto master necesita cambiarse urgente. El ruido de los “bed-springs” sonaban con cada movimiento y no permitía un descanso apropiado. Ademas que estaba “crooked”. El outlet detrás del mueble que está en el cuarto master está roto. Igual que el control remoto del televisor, esta inutilizable.

I want to begin with the positives, I appreciated the hosts hospitality for allowing our family to stay in their property, the grounds and safety were optimum. However, and please take this as recommendations for a better experience to future guests, the condo is in dire need TLC. The pictures displayed on VRBO were not comparable to the reality. The condo needs an entire scrape and paint, fresh draperies, reparation of window leaks, and a deep bathroom cleaning. If the advisement is followed from one property owner to another, everyones overall outcome will improve.

First off , turned A/C unit on made a terrible noise! Found dirty dishes in cabinets, Bathrooms were filthy! Sinks had no stoppers! Master bedroom king bed is terrible not fit to sleep on, mattress needs replaced! A/C unit in master bedroom also started making a terrible noise! was told to turn off and open windows, to hot (86*) to do that! Jet tub in master bathroom does not work! BBQ grill on patio does not work! Key to the pool area did not work! No TV in 1 of the bedrooms!

The view at this location is beautiful, location is convenient if your okay with going 40 minutes travel. I loved the view of the island. Suggestion: firer your cleaning service!, kitchen would benefit with some detail touches, mattress in master bedroom needs to be replaced, master bathroom needs work ASAP. Shower floor, will sink if not repaired ASAP , bathroom tube . With some extra comfort details this place would be worth the cost. Again, the view and location were very nice.

Picture do not tell the full story,the house it’s perfect for a family, fully equipped amazing views yes there was some ants running around the place but it’s PR ! the owner was excellent responding to a couple of hiccups we had nothing major but yet he was ready to take care of them .Honestly I have no idea why there is a couple of negative reviews about this property book it with your eyes closed and remember the owner can’t take care of your needs if you don’t let him know before you leave ..!!
