Location

The house was dirty and required cleaning before going in properly. The garden was unsafe for children. The electrics were illegal with wires showing and exposed backboxes. The beds were EXTREMELY uncomfortable and there were no curtains meaning that it was light in the bedroom from 5am. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND LOOKING ELSEWHERE

It’s had the greatest alarm system and the TV with Netflix. Also the WIFi was very fast

The hosts were lovely and extremely helpful and always contactable by text or phone, we absolutely couldn’t fault her. The house was also extremely clean and reasonably priced, and in a good and quiet location, a cheap 10-15 minute Uber drive from the city centre. The kitchen and living area were nice spaces and the shower was good.

There was a lack of basic amenities that unfortunately disrupted our stay. We would expect any accommodation we stay at to have toilet roll as a standard so not having any upon arrival was an inconvenience. The kitchen had most things but no oven gloves, iron/ironing board or first aid kit, and there were only 2 towels for 5 of us. Unfortunately, when we first opened the living room door it fell off its hinges - luckily no one was hurt but potentially dangerous and we had to use the chairs to hold it in place for the rest of our stay. We’d paid a sizeable £250 deposit and had anxiety regarding whether money would be taken off because of this (thankfully it wasn’t but I really do believe that before charging a damage deposit it should be ensured that there is no significant prior damage). The quality of sleep was also poor, with squeaky, uncomfortable beds and transparent white blinds with a small mesh curtain in the rooms that let all of the light in. I feel bad writing a neutral review as the house has potential and with improvement this could be a fantastic place to say, but we wouldn’t return due to these issues.

Love finding such a gem in Nottingham. In a lovely quiet area and the house is big enough for a group. Felt like I was away on a holiday not away for work and that’s what made my stay great!

Lovely quiet residential area! The house was clean and homely and Aimee and Huku Kwetu made me feel at home. Would stay again :)

The property is fantastic, very comfortable and clean

There was a few issues with the shower tripping out. A guy came straight out to fix this but the problem was still there, difficult when you have 5 men all needing to use it daily.
