The host was always available by phone and she was happy to answer questions. The size of the house gave the 10 of us plenty of room to spread out. All five bedrooms are up a lofty flight of stairs. It is nice that the washer and dryer are upstairs. It was a good place to stay for a family.

Enjoyed our stay with extended family in this roomy house that is located in a nice quiet neighborhood. It was an easy drive into Austin and an even easier driver over to Lake Travis. Easy check-in process and great owner communication. We had a great 1-week visit!

Location of the property was excellent for our stay, neighborhood was nice and quiet. House was spacious and gave us room to spread out. Kitchen was well equipped and had plenty of dishes and silverware for our whole group. There were plenty of supplies for our stay, even a log for the firepit. Katherine, our host, was very responsive to our needs and questions before, during, and after our stay.

The house was fantastic and as advertised. Plenty of room for my party of 8. Great location. I was able to get to all activities within 20 minutes. No problem contacting owner for concerns or questions. No worry about losing keys as a keypad is used for locking. Used community pool, which is very close to the property. Altogether a great stay!

The house was perfect for our large family. We have 5 kids ranging from 10-19 and everyone had their own space. The house was clean and met our needs for cooking. The kids enjoyed lounging around during the early hours of the day. I liked having a large master bedroom and bathroom. HEB was conveniently located just 4 mins away. Would highly recommend staying here of you have a big family.

The property was in a quiet neighborhood. We felt very safe there. The property fit our needs perfectly as we needed 5 bedrooms, and a large table so we could all have meals together! The photos advertising the site were spot on with the actual property, which is truly appreciated. Communication with the owner was excellent! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great family vacation. We got to explore Austin's food, shopping and attractions. We were never more than 20/25 minutes away from all that Austin has to offer. The property was wonderful and we had everything we needed....even a great community pool with friendly neighbors.

Not on the lake
This spacious and traditional family home offered comfortable sleeping and relaxation.
Access to Lake Travis is about a 15 minute drive. We were hoping to stay on the lake as shown in one of the photos.
We left and checked out at 11:10 AM. The cleaning crew arrived early and were waiting before the 11 AM checkout time. The kids were wiped out from hiking and the heat the day before, so we really needed the 10 extra minutes, but there was not much more flexibility than that.
The hostess answered all of our questions and was quick to respond to messages.

This house needs a little updating but Katherine was very quick to accommodate us when we needed something. The neighborhood is awesome and our most favorite part was the neighborhood pool. It was very quiet, clean and open till 11pm. That’s perfect for our vacation!

Wonderful
We stayed here for a long weekend getaway for my birthday with my family. Everything was great. The house was very clean and homey!! Lots of room for everyone too and such a nice neighborhood. We really enjoyed going to the park with the kids which was just a short walk or if you needed to you could drive and park in front of it. The owner was nice and easy to talk to. We had one small hiccup with the smoke detector battery being out and she very quickly helped us resolve the issue so it was beeping all night. We would definitely stay here again!

The home and kitchen is well furnished. There were several things that cause concern. In the ad it does not mention that all five bedrooms are upstairs. There is 15 steps to the Staircase. Coming down the last two steps are a hazard, Reason because of the wall design there is no rail on the right side of the wall going down. There were clutter in the closet and the garage. The yard And fence is not well kept up.. The kitchen I was not a fan of the windows and doors uncovered at night I did not feel comfortable sitting in the kitchen feeling exposed. I called the owner concerning the kitchen windows she was not able to assist because she was leaving town.

Location is great. Nice quiet neighborhood. The inside of the house was accurately described. The outside needs a little tender loving care. Especially the back yard.

House was everything it was said to be. Very clean and everything worked well. It accommodated our family with room to spare. The only downside was the backyard. It was not maintained and we wouldn’t go near the grill or deck.

Perfect Family Gathering Spot
The property was as advertised. Comfortable, spacious bedrooms and gathering spaces. Kitchen well stocked with dish and cookware. Host attentive and helpful. Be aware that all bedrooms are located upstairs, which may be a challenge for some guests.

Large house with great community pool
The house had plenty of room for eating, gathering and sleeping. We really enjoyed the very nice pool and playground at the community center we could access with the house rental. We were close to the lake and loved the boat we rented form Keep Austin Wet. The house could do with some fresh paint, but we enjoyed our stay and appreciated a 5 bedroom home for a reasonable rate.

Clean but needs updating and a pool
We stayed for 6 days and the second day we wanted to use the gas grill but it was broken but it was fixed within an hour. We found gum on a blanket that was also not checked before we arrived but the owner came and grabbed it to wash. We were charged a very large security deposit and was refunded after we got back home but that amount of money is not worth this property. The entire house needs updating but it was comfortable. The back deck had screws that were not flush with the deck boards so we snagged our toes on them almost daily. Overall it was a good stay but probably wouldn't stay there again due to the lack of amenities and no pool.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay - this was originally a girl trip with 5 of us going - due to illness and such - some had to cancel - so my husband and I stayed for the long weekend. the house is in a good location - not a far drive to the small towns we wanted to explore. it is large and roomy - we felt safe and comfortable.

We had a wonderful Christmas together at the house. Lots of space, many sitting areas. Huge backyard with comfortable outdoor furniture. A mile from groceries and so quiet. Thank you for letting us stay at your home.

Central Texas Get away
We stayed in this lovely five bedroom home to attend a wedding in Austin. It is conveniently located to the highways, a grocery store, and a local mall. There is a nice country club just down the street as well as a beautiful walking trial. The house itself looks to be about 30-40 years old but has weathered well.

Most was good as described. No bed spreads though, bathroom door downstairs locks from outside only. Garage remote didn’t work so owner came in while we’re away (Hmm) and brought batteries. The neighborhood was nice, clean enough, owner was easy to deal with, and check out was good.

We had 10 adults that came to Austin for a Sibling and Dad weekend getaway. The property was big enough to accommodate our group. Katherine, the owner, was easy to work with and very nice.

A Great Stay!!
This property was conveniently located about fifteen minutes from the Marina. The house was clean and the layout was spectacular. The spacious table settings were sufficient to accommodate my entire party of nine. Grocery stores and restaurants, including a nice sushi restaurant were nearby. It was definitely a property I would stay at again.
