This is a great property, very comfortable. I loved having a kitchen to make quick meals. This home is well stocked with all the essentials for a comfortable stay. This will be my first choice when returning to Catalina.

My wife and I spent 5 days on Catalina Island attending the JazzTrax jazz festival and touring the island. Our 'headquarters' was Randy's wonderful property....a short walk to all the main activities and shops, but far enough away to allow some quiet down time too. The property is top notch, with no issues whatsoever. Randy made sure to keep in touch with us before, during and after our stay to ensure that everything was satisfactory. We would strongly recommend staying at Randy's 'home away from home' property

Excellent place to stay on Catalina! Very clean and all the comforts of home. Randy is super responsive to questions before and during your stay. The master bedroom and bath are large and great for relaxing. We cooked and ate most meals in the nicely equipped kitchen. Vons is very close and all groceries were reasonably priced. The location could not be better with just a 5 minute walk to shops and the beach. We had no use for a golf cart, bikes or taxis – everything in Avalon is a 10 minute or shorter walk from the house (including the ferry port). We will be back soon…

Great location, near enough to walk to everything, but in the quieter upper corner of town. Clean and very comfortable.

The house is located an easy walk from town but far enough from the noise to be very quiet at night. Comfortable and very clean. Had everything you could need, except a kitchen sponge to do dishes. Vons was so close to pick up groceries. Would definitely stay again and recommend as long as you can do the stairs. As the description says, there are a lot of them.

Everything exceeded the expectations. No tricks. No nothing. Just an amazing place to stay so I can forget about where we sleep and just focus on being on the island. No background thoughts. Just plain ol' reliable place: living room, kitchen, bathrooms, bathtubs, golf/beach stuff, and bedroom! Thank you.

Immaculate, had lots of nice touches that made the stay pleasant. Randy was very responsive to a question we had. The space is on 3 different floors so we got our steps in. The master bedroom and bath are large and great to relax in after a day exploring the island. The location is great, several blocks from the crowds and restaurants so quieter but super close to everything.

This was an excellent place to stay on Catalina!! Located in a quiet neighborhood, but just a few minutes walk to the shops and restaurants...... modern kitchen and bathrooms, beautifully decorated!!

It was easy to find and we had no problems getting in and settled. It was in easy walking distance of everything we did all weekend. We enjoyed the stay and would happily stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay here! We love to cook and eat, so we really enjoyed the fully equipped kitchen. As described in the listing, the house has three levels. You enter on the 1st level which has a TV room with a bathroom and foyer. We found ourselves not using the bottom floor hardly at all, which was fine for us. Second floor has a kitchen that is well equipped and makes it easy to prepare and store food. There’s a little breakfast nook with a couple stools and a comfy booth. The third-floor has a bedroom with ample storage, and even cedar-lined closets! There’s also a master bath with two sinks, a shower and a Jacuzzi tub. The owner is very helpful and easy to communicate with, which made the trip even more enjoyable. Location was also a plus. Probably about five minutes from the heart of town by foot, but far enough away to where it was quiet and peaceful most of the time. Great spot and competitively priced for Catalina!

My wife and l had a lovely time staying here in Catalina. Checking in and out was super easy and this location comes with so much more than a standard hotel room for the same price. Would definitely come back.

the location is not in the middle of everything. It is quiet and clean. Close to a bus stop for easy getting around.

Overall great place to stay, clean. It has a full working kitchen with all necessary needs ,really close to vons in case you need to purchase anything while you stay here. I highly recommend this location. Great communication,overall great all around.

My husband and I had a wonderful time staying at this property. It is about a ten minute easy, level walk to everything in town (and I’m a slow walker). We appreciated having two bathrooms. Bed was very comfortable. Quiet, safe neighborhood. As the listing indicates, there are lots of stairs so this might not be the ideal place for those with knee problems. We thought it was a great value to be able to stay in a clean and comfortable place right in town, within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants.

This little villa is tastefully decorated, well-kept, and clean. The location is just far enough out of the hustle and bustle of downtown, but close enough for an easy 8-10 minute walk into town. The a/c worked well, and the bed was comfortable. There are lots of stairs, so it's not for those will difficulty walking. We would stay her again, for sure!

My husband and I stayed here for two nights to celebrate my birthday. It was an amazing place, a lot more spacious than the others I saw online. Location was great, walking distance to the shops and restaurants. We walked to descanso beach the first time but did get a taxi the second day. Would definitely recommend this property!
