My husband and I, our three boys, and my parents had a great time at this beach house just steps from the sand and a short walk to the shops and restaurants. Plenty of room for everyone and great kitchen. We will return.

We had such a stay! The house was even cuter in person. The house was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the WiFi was strong. Check in was simple and communication was great. The space has lovely natural light and and thoughtful decor. They had all the amenities for an easy stay. The location was a short walk. You could see the beach from our windows. Would love to enjoy the house again for a longer stay. We will be back😃

The house was close to everything. It was clean and easy to access. Great place to stay. Only recommendation would be to provide coffee filters and the house could use a working can opener!!

The house worked really well for us (6 adults and 2 kids). Really enjoyed the stay over Thanksgiving! Well-equipped kitchen (minus a broken can-opener). The living room was comfortable and spacious. Ocean view and easy to get to the beach + town! Definitely recommend this house and will be staying again!

We enjoyed our stay at the Duffy house. It was practical for a large group with a range of ages. The house was very clean with comfy beds. It’s a great location steps from the promenade and beach. I highly recommend this rental.

This home is great! It seems to be newly remodeled. Everything was clean and tidy on arrival and nicely decorated. The kitchen was fully stocked with all kinds of cooking equipment/utensils. The location was great. There is an ocean view from the living room and the front porch. It is right off of the promenade so walking to all the attractions was safe and easy but it’s down far enough to be away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy a quieter beach area. The BBQ appeared brand new and we also used the fire pit. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip. It worked out perfectly!

This property was tastefully remodeled and in a great location. I would like to give it more stars but a plumbing problem occurred on our next to the last day. I called management and asked them to address it and they said they would. However, nothing was done so we stopped showering and using the toilet . Sewage had backed up into the lower bath tub. The toilets filled with water to the brim, the garbage disposal had been weak during our stay but then stopped working . The management did not even call us back to say they weren't able to fix it before we left. The sewage did recede and the toilets emptied when we stopped using them, obviously not a very convenient solution. We are very thankful this didn't happen until our last 24 hrs at the property . I would also like to note that we had to go buy additional toilet paper , paper towels were limited to one roll, no paper napkins etc. Every other vacation rental we have visited has provided soap for both the shower and the sink so you don't have to move them back and forth . These inexpensive supplies were in very short supply . For the cost of this rental I would have predicted ample supplies . This would not have been a deal breaker for me , it is just something I would have liked to have known so we could have come more prepared.

My sister and I l, along with my three adult children, had an amazing time at this beach house! We walked on the Prom every day, walked down to the water and enjoyed our walk into Seaside so much. We also made day trips to Astoria, Cannon Beach, and Depoe Bay to watch the whales. This was a great homebase for meal prep, hanging out and enjoying each other while we enjoyed Seaside. The house is gorgeous, well appointed, comfortable and spacious. Even better than I expected, and we made memories that will last forever. Thank you for your hospitality!

We enjoyed our stay at the Duffy house! The best part about this home is the location. We were able to easily walk to the beach and down the promenade to downtown. This home has a beautifully updated kitchen and we were able to cook some delicious family dinners. All 8 of us fit comfortably at the kitchen table. We also utilized the grill and fire pit. Thanks for a lovely vacation.

We came in to find the table counters and floors had a weird sticky residue so cleaned the whole place myself. It was clear they haven’t dusted or cleaned under things in months. Has only 1 outlet per room on top floor. So dirty would not stay again.

Our family had a great weekend staying at this house. It was clean and had everything we expected. We especially liked being close to the prom and it’s a nice walk to the turnaround and Seaside shops.

I rented the house for co-workers to stay in while attending a conference in Seaside. I heard no complaints so all must have been good.

Due to the homes age and preserving that history, we understood, but that should have been fixed prior to our arrival. Although the home has been upgraded, it is not worth the price being charged and definitely does not warrant the exorbitant $600+ “reservation fee” or the $200 “cleaning fee”. The home is pretty ordinary with very limited art on the walls, inexpensive furniture and bedding and limited kitchen necessities. It is on the smaller side; the “master” bathroom is particularly small—the smallest of the 3 bathrooms. One bedroom does not even have a closet. Screens were missing from some of the windows meaning that they could not be opened without allowing flies and other bugs in. The biggest issues involved the truly filthy state of the home. It was as if the cleaning staff showed up, pulled the comforters up on the beds and then walked out. The sheets clearly had not been washed—one set of sheets had blood on them. The toilets had not been cleaned in so long that they had pink rings in them at the water line. The floors were covered in sand and food particles from the prior guests. The refrigerator was not clean inside or out. The prior guests clearly had cooked something greasy on the stove-top griddle which remained coated in grease, as did the stove-top itself. The BBQ grill was quite dirty and dirty cooking utensils used by prior guests remained outside next to the grill. Many of the window ledges were covered in dirt and dead flies. The dishwasher was full of the PRIOR GUEST’S DISHES. The indoor recycling bin had no liner in it but was full to the top with the prior guests’ trash and food (not just recycling) requiring us to pick up the individual items of SOMEONE SOMEONE ELSE’S TRASH by hand DURING A PANDEMIC(!!). Both the recycling and trash bins outside were completely full of the prior guests’ trash. Finally, there was ZERO dishwasher soap or laundry detergent in the home.
