The security deposit isnt mentioned until you purchase the room. It needs to say in the description and be the first line that there is a 100$ “security deposit” in other words a scam. And theyll try and find something so small to make sure they keep that money. Take photos of the area before you leave

Clean, secure and quiet.

Location and bed was comfortable. Staff was prompt and courteous. Room was decent and clean.

Walls and ceilings were thin and heard neighbors. Needed more outlets to plug in phone and cpap.

I liked the location. Its nearby to alot of convenient stores.

I didn't like the fact that when I received the key, I entered the room and it smelled like cigarettes. When I went to the bathroom the horrible design made it impossible for me to sit comfortably on the toilet, the bathroom window was broken so at any time someone could easily lift it open and enter freely. (Good news for squatters!!) Lastly, when I left the room & went to lock the door, I find out that the key that I have only locks the bottom lock, not the top lock that is a "bolt". So when I checked it to see if the door was locked the knob was locked, but the door slightly opened. Yes, I was able to push the door open, a toddler could push the door open!!! I'm surprised room 27 didn't have squatters in it when I entered!! That means whoever installed the door did a shotty half job or the motel is simply too broke to properly fix things & keep their guests safe!! I do bet that the motels owner is living large and everything is probably renovated in their home all at the cost of the newly named... "Emerald WORST Motel"

Other than the location, and simple parking. I did not like anything!!!

I didn't like the fact that he had the machine equipped with NFC to tap the physical card as well virtual. Which he refused to do, this was so I can pay the deposit. I showed this "donkey" my virtual card & proof of purchase via my account, along with my identification, not to mention I showed him the the other card that I used from last booking when I stayed in that unsafe room and told him I had to cancel that card I was showing him because I lost it, then later on found it. Concluding that I couldn't use that card I was showing him due to it being shut off after the scare of losing it. Yet the JACKASS still refused without compromise or understanding. Emerald Motel should not be advertised on Booking.com. Don't waste your time, money, & MOST DEFINITELY, DO NOT RISK YOUR SAFETY OR YOUR FAMILY'S SAFETY 🙏🏾 There are plenty of motels in the same city with the same if not better deals.

Staff was very friendly and welcoming at check in. I was very satisfied with room and impressed with how clean it was. I really like the location as well. Felt safe when I was reassured of property's security.
