Tinus and Danielle are the perfect hosts: friendly and fun, and they put on a great breakfast too! They are exceptionally kind and surprised us each day with yummy home-baked treats and Dutch sweets. I highly recommend staying there.

Our room was beautiful with it own little court yard where we could eat our breakfast in the mornings. the breakfast was just amazing, probably the best we have ever had when travelling, omelette, toast fresh fruit, fresh baked cakes, tea, coffee and fresh juice. Delicious! it was so easy to travel around using the trains. trams and buses, we went to the city and also went to a concert at Johan Cruijff arena using the buses no problem, just 20 mins away. our hosts were extremely helpful and just lovely people, we wouldn’t hesitate to go back if we go to Amsterdam again.

Absolutely nothing

We absolutely loved everything about our stay with Danielle and Tinus. If I could rate them higher than 10, I would because we felt as if we were staying with friends and not at an B&B. Not only were the rooms perfect and had everything we needed, but every day we had some surprise waiting for us in our room (a typical Dutch treat etc). The breakfast they prepare is amazing, definitely the best we have ever had anywhere (and we travel a lot). You can tell that they build the rooms for their guest with a lot of thought and love. I am sure that you can almost always find things you miss or dislike in accommodations when you travel...hooks missing for towels, not enough space for your things, either in the room or the bathroom, etc. Danielle and Tinus thought of everything. They are very kind, helpful, and very friendly. We loved their homemade cakes so much that I even asked for a few recipes. On top of that, there is a small mall across the street where you can get anything you need (supermarket, ATM, public transportation tickets)...literally across the street. We loved staying in a neighborhood where locals live because we like to learn about the country and people when we travel. So we were happy we chose Danielle's and Tinus's place for that reason as well. I must say, I knew their place was popular from the reviews but it exceeded our expectations. Thank you, guys! Hope to come again!

The hosts were friendly and welcoming. The accommodation was well located, clean and the breakfast each morning was amazing. We would strongly recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone wanting to travel to Amsterdam!

Nothing, absolutely no complaints whatsoever

Our hosts were wery friendly and wonderful. We had a very warm welcoming with coffee and homemade cookies. The room was comfy and clean. The bed was soft and the bathroom was neat. Every night we got a new little surprise from the host and the breakfasts were yummy and filling. Our hosts helped us whenever we needed assistance and gave us a lot of good tips on how to get aroun in Amsterdam. We had a wonderful stay in this B&B!

Everything was just perfect!

Amazing breakfasts, no way could we eat everything we were offered! There were lots of little personalised touches in the room that made us feel extremely welcome. Out hosts were very chatty and interesting. They gave us lots of information about getting around Ansterdam, places to visit, where to eat locally and so on.

The hosts are beyond amazing, welcoming, friendly, to the point you leave friends behind when you check out. The room was cosy, clean, and well equipped with a calming and simple design and a very comfy bed. The shower was epic.

There is nothing to dislike at all.

The owners are very kind, friendly and caring - I felt welcome from the first moment! The breakfast was really great and much more than I expected. As was the bike they provided me with. I also appreciated the privacy. And I never slept better in any other B&B or hotel - what a fantastic bed!

This accomodation was more than I expected! The room was pretty clean and bright with a small garden to sit. Danielle and Tinus are amazing and enchanting couple doing everything for guessts with care and love. By the way Danielle bakes amazing and tasty sweets and she left something small in the room for us every day. The breakfast was served with a lot of care and design (fresh orange juice, a lot of fresh fruit). There are also bikes to lend for free - that is what you appraise especially in Amsterdam. You can get to the very center in 20 minutes by bike. Danielle and Tinus were very helpful all the time and they suggested many things to do and see. If we come to visit Amsterdam again we will definitely choose this place again! Tomas a Veronika

Danielle and Tinus( the hosts) were so accommodating, helpful and really lovely people. Breakfast was superb, plenty to eat and served with a smile and slice of homemade cake. Room was clean, bed comfy with a good shower.

The breakfasts cooked by Danielle andTinus were absolutely first class, the omlettes were made to order and the accompanying fresh fruits and breads were delicious. It was also all the little unexpected things like prebuying your 48 hour tram card, showing you which trams to catch to get to your selected places of interest and providing you with the travel maps The tram stop is only a short 5 min walk from your entrance gate. It is no wonder that the two self contained units with direct access are booked out for months in advance So much more enjoyable than the 5 star hotels that we have booked for the remainder of our 6 week European holiday. After a 30 hour travel time from Australia it was a most relaxing and enjoyable start to our trip

Absolutely nothing, the bed was very comfy, the en-suite was fine with a spacious walk in shower.

It's very good the host gives us surprise when we arrived everything is so sweet and we want to come back again next time.

B&Bs don't get any better than this.We found a real gem when we booked B&B Diemerplein. The accommodation (Chalet) was excellent,clean,cosy everything you wished for and more. Danielle and Tinus were the perfect hosts, welcoming,friendly and very helpful in suggestions on what to see / visit in Amsterdam. They hearty,delicious breakfasts set us up for the day including the surprise extra goodies. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Danielle even drove us to the railway station on our last day. Everything was perfect to me, specially Danielle and Tinus kidness. They let me feel at home and their good vibes and energy have made the stay even better. The neighborhood was pretty quite and relaxed, and you have restaurants and supermarket in front of it. To transport, the train, tram and buses are close to the place and you have a choice to get a bicycle that they borrow you to use it. Every morning they prepared so delicious and complete breakfast that i really enjoyed! They were so attentive in every details. I trully recommend this place to stay in Amsterdam! ❣️

There was nothing I didn't like.

The accommodation was spot on and ticked every box. The breakfast was excellent - freshly cooked to order. The room was very comfortable with a bonus welcome drinks in the fridge. The bathroom was amazing and everything was exceptionally clean. Our hosts - Tinus and Danielle - couldn’t have been more welcoming and were very helpful with suggestions about where to eat and what to see. Amsterdam is an amazing city and we will definitely be returning in the future and we will certainly be using this wonderful B&B next time.

The house that Danielle and Tinus built almost by themselves (wow!!) was one of the nicest places we’ve ever (!) stayed in. Truthfull? It was THE NICEST :) IT’s located in a calm neighbourhood, the bed was extra comfortable and the bathroom was really clean! You also get the bikes for free, and don’t even get me started on the niceness and friendliness of the hosts! 🥰 Danielle helped us all the time with tips to explore Amsterdam in a local manner, Tinus made the best omlette and was even so nice as to drive us to the train station the last day and Danielle baked loooots of great dessertes which she even packed for us so we could eat them when we went on our exploration missions 🤩 I had my birthday during the trip and they even got me a present & made an extra effort that I had a birth day that I’ll never forget! Plus they’re really funny, too! 😃 And the breakfast? I have zero complaints!

The owners, Danielle and Tinus were very friendly and so helpful for supporting our stay in Amsterdam. Our room was a kind of small cozy chalet, the small bottle of Prosecco was already in the fridge in our room as welcome drink, the room was very clean. The bed was also comfortable to sleep. The breakfast was really gorgeous, (we have chosen our preference from their list of the breakfast) we were so nicely taken care by Danielle and Tinus. To reach to the city center, we took a tram, the tram stop was just 3 minutes to walk from the B&B. When we come to visit to Amsterdam again, we surely will stay this fantastic B&B!

We didn't have any problem during our stay. However, the location of this B&B is not situated in the center of the city, if some travelers would like to reach from the central station, it will take time about 30-40 minutes (take a tram and some walk). It is easier to reach here by car or taxi.

Danielle and Tinus were the nicest hosts we have ever met. The location was great, tram 19 provides an easy access to the downtown. The room was nice, clean and cosy with free coffee, tea, water etc. The breakfast was hearty and delicious…everything was perfect .

We’ve had a lovely time at B&B Diemerplein ! Daniëlle and her husband were charming hosts filled with very nice attentions to us. Would recommend anyone visiting Amsterdam ! We will definitely come back !
