Everything!!! 10/10

I broke my ankle and they made every accommodation to help me from driving me to the clinic to serving my meals in my room to making arrangements for the Shkoder bus as easily as possible. Food was great and plentiful.

Amazing views over Theth valley and a nice place to recharge after hiking in from Valbona. The hosts were great and offered to drive us from the end of our hike and also to the bus stop on our last morning. The family cooked some of the best meals we had in Albania for breakfast and dinner.

Great view of Theth and delicious food. Family were all kind and accomodating. The free transfers from the property are very useful! Thank you for our stay.

Very nice setting in the mountains and the family are incredibly hospitable and lovely. The guesthouse experience is very homely, a perfect stay in the mountains. The food was delicious and the views are lovely. Rooms were very clean and comfortable.

It was quite hard to find the guesthouse and we went up the wrong trail for quite some time. The trail we ended up finding to get to the place is very steep and not an easy walk. You follow a road out of theth and then there is an unsigned trail on the left about 20 minutes up the road that you need to follow to the guesthouse. I definitely think they need to have a sign and provide clearer information about accessing the property in the booking confirmation. It is also quite a way out of theth but a very nice spot!

This place is like heaven on earth. The family is so welcoming and sweet, we are very greatly to have visited it.

The view at the house is superb. The food is delicous both breakfast and dinner are enormous. The owners are pleasant. The room is comfortable and has everything you need.

Incredible views of mountains and Theth. Amazing food with big portions and very hospitable hosts.

Only negative comment is that we got a transfer through the Guesthouse and the driving there felt a little dangerous (fast and a lot of time spent on their phone, which was scary on dangerous roads).

The location of the guesthouse is amazing with a great view of the surrounding mountains and valley. Breakfast and dinner both delicious meals with local ingredients . Comfortable beds and nice size rooms with plenty of space. We loved our stay there and the owners are all very nice and kind people, we really enjoyed our stay in this little piece of paradise

Beautiful location, quiet and peaceful. Comfy beds, super clean, and plenty of hot water. It was a bit cold and rainy during my visit but the blankets on the bed and the nice fire in the communal living room kept me cozy and warm. Really lovely family that owns and runs the guesthouse. They were helpful and friendly and will make you feel right at home. Although the guesthouse is a bit of a walk from the center, I was told to just call or message if I needed a lift back. Great breakfast on the big patio with an amazing view!

We really enjoyed the view and the food, the hosts were very friendly. There was a resting room with fire too!

The only thing we didnt like was the road and location which was a bit difficult to find.

lovely and super welcoming hosts. Dinner was exceptional as well. quite adventurous to get there if you walk up from the valley and you need a 4x4 if you wanna get there by car; just ask the hosts for the right way tho and they'll help ya. once you get there it's just lovely!

it was very cold during the nights.

The breakfast was good and very similar to most breakfasts we've had at other Albanian guesthouses. Bec Villi also offers dinner for 12 Euro per person, which I thought was worth it because of the amount, quality and variety of food they provided. Everything was really fresh and delicious. You can take your meals on the outside terrace with amazing views of the entire valley or inside next to a fire. The bed was very comfortable, and we had access to extra blankets if needed. We stayed on the top floor and still had a good WiFi signal. The bathroom is on the small side and like many other Albania guesthouses, there is no demarcation between the shower and the rest of the bathroom. Make sure you move the toilet paper out of the way! With that said, the hot water and water pressure were both great. When it's time to leave, if you don't have a car, the morning shuttle to Shkodër (Shkodra) will stop there. You just need to make arrangements with the guesthouse the day before. Last but not least, the family that owns the guesthouse is wonderful! Mom does the cooking, Dad the serving and fire stoking, the older son handles the communication, and the younger son provides the entertainment. If I'm ever in Theth again, I'll 100% stay at Bec Villi.

Finding the guesthouse on foot can be a challenge. Don't trust Google maps! Another couple at the guesthouse found their way using MAPS.ME, so I would recommend downloading that app before your stay. You can also reach out to the family via WhatsApp to confirm the route before you leave the town. The hike up from Theth isn't difficult, but it is along the road for a kilometer or two until you reach the trail to their property. If you have a car, Google should be sufficient because it will take you to their driveway much further up the road.

The family are very friendly and helpful The view was more than perfect The breakfast was nice The room was sooo clean and comfortable The place is wonderful for rest. Really I spent the best three nights in trip.

Can't go without a car because it's far from center on foot. No signs for the house from the Asphalt road. Small advice about theth: fuel your car on full on the begging of the road because the nearest fuel station is about 75 mins from the guest house else the fuel in the center is very expensive.

Location is stunning, the view even more so. Food can be prepared by the owners, at an extra charge and is delicious. Bring plenty of cash since there are no ATM'S and credit cards are not accepted. Euro however is accepted.

Its a bit of a walk uphill to get to the guest house from Theth. If you come by car its advisable to drive all the way up to the house . Otherwise just accept the extra hike.
