Location perfect. All you need for a bit of rest and relaxation

We enjoyed our time at Bells in Beechworth. Such a lovely place, great covered deck which was wonderful to have a morning breakfast and afternoon drinks on. It was very clean, great facilities, and lovely roomy bedrooms

We had a wonderful time at Bell’s and would be happy to return at any time of the year. Everything you need is supplied - plus lots of extras in the kitchen should you wish to cook - a rarity in Australian accommodation. Super clean too and attractive furnishings.Many thanks Jess and Jen.

Bell’s was a spacious but cosy, modern cottage with every amenity and a beautiful view across the gorge. We were very comfortable and would definitely stay again.

This is a wonderful, comfortable and spotlessly clean property. It is on the edge of town with a beautiful view of the countryside. Very quiet, with every possible convenience, I could not recommend this treasure highly enough.

The place is very peaceful and relaxing with great views Fantastic location. Close to town centre, lake and Historic Park. The cottage itself is cosy . The only minor negative is the towels were a bit stiff and the soap provided was wet in the package so did not use it. Overall, very nice place and would go back again.

Stunning property with wonderful views over Beechworth. Everything you need is provided. Comfortable beds and relaxed atmosphere. The veranda was the perfect spot to sit and relax. Highly recommend a stay here.

Wonderful! Everything is there to settle in and get comfy. Great location. Stunning views. Easy to bike from. Short drive or ride into town. We loved everything about it and can't wait to return for another visit!

We thought the house presented even better in person that it did online. Really enjoyed out stay. Communication with our host was excellent. Only suggestion would be to include wi-fi so we could access Netflix, as the weather and CV19 situation kept us indoors more than we wanted.

Overall a great little place to stay for a few days. Not that it worried us, but the comment that it is a flat walk into town is not quite correct & might impact on some other customers.

Beechworth is a lovely town rich in history, friendly town-folk and amenities; and a lazy 3 hours' drive from Melbourne. The "Bells" is perfectly situated across the gorge from the village. It's an easy 5 minute drive into town. Its elevated outdoor balcony, and its open plan kitchen/dining room/lounge offer panoramic views of the gorge and the outskirts of the village. One of a cluster of cottages located at the end of a short driveway, Unit #5 (where we stayed) is the most private. It's probably better suited for couples, although it can comfortably accommodate a family of 2-3 children. Mostly, it is clean, quiet and well-furnished. The kitchen is stocked with ample equipment and also essential cooking ingredients (spices, cooking oil, tea, coffee). The two bedrooms have comfortable beds, plenty of spare linen, blankets and space heaters. The bathroom is also very clean and tidy and has full laundry facilities. We also made a new friend during our stay... a loveable koala bear who kept a watchful eye on us every day when we were enjoying the view from the balcony. Lastly, the property manager (Jacinta) was absolutely terrific to deal with... she made us feel very welcome and was nice enough to drop by to turn the central heat on prior to our arrival. We've already decided to come back again around the same time next year.

This was the perfect property for a break. Away from traffic, noise and congestion. The house was warm and well laid out. Great views from the deck. Near some beautiful restaurants and wineries. Immensely enjoyable

Well worth a visit to this wonderful spot

We stayed for two nights and enjoyed the town and rural outlooks and the clean, comfortable and spacious unit. It included all modern conveniences and a very comfortable bed. We went straight to the information centre and signed up for the Ned Kelly and heritage tours, which gave us insights into the rich history of Beechworth. We ate lunch both days at the Beechworth Provender because the food was so fresh and good. We also enjoyed the tea rooms. The weather was too warm for us to walk as much as we would have liked but we got a ride in along the sealed rail trail one evening. Lots to do from a great base.

Great place for a few days away. Very clean, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Loved the views from the deck and the living space. Ideal for exploring the local area, then retreating back to this quiet, restful space.
