Terrific experience, sweet little spot. Loved the patio garden several times during our 3 day stay. We were charmed.

We enjoyed our stay immensely. We met the owner who was very nice, but we had lots of privacy. The yard atmosphere was so pleasant and calming. The kitchen was roomy and everything was as described. The bed was very comfortable. We especially enjoyed using the outdoor Bbq. We felt safe and had no problems. Thank you, Maggie for a wonderful getaway. We will be back.

Very impressed with the comfortable setting. Kitchen has everything you might need to enjoy a cooked meal, and all spaces had thoughtful touches. Maggie is very friendly and courteous! The garden area is very mindful and welcoming as well. Would highly recommend and return for our next trip!

This cottage was perfect for my needs - nice kitchen so I could prepare some of my own meals during my stay. Cottage is at the back of the property away from the street in a quiet neighborhood. A/C and ceiling fans kept the temperature comfy during a heat wave during my stay. Highly recommend this property.

It was clean and we enjoyed our stay but the bathroom was a little below when I had hope for no room to lay anything out and the shower was quite small

This guest home was perfect for our stay. Very tranquil , beautiful gardens and area. Lots to do without going to far. House is fully equipped with everything you could need or want. I would go back in a heartbeat. Awesome weather this time of year. I loved the hosts decor in the house.

Great stay in a walkable neighborhood. Comfy and funky. The garden is great for sunning and relaxing. Super host!

The “cozy cottage” is their garage they tossed some drywall up in. Honestly it’s functional and pretty cute, but it definitely feels way too close for comfort to owner’s house. Apparently this is common for California. We felt very watched the whole time and sure enough during an evening chat halfway through the stay we saw some blinds flip up and down several times, and ended up just going back inside. The vibes were just bad all around and I would’ve rather paid a few more bucks for a hotel. The owners seem to have clearly had some bad renters in the past and ask for a lot upon checkout, which also would be fine if there weren’t clear indications that they hire a cleaner. So i’m cleaning to help you pay less for your cleaner? these people seem super out of touch with how incredibly lucky they are for this to be their passive income and could stand to be a little friendlier and more welcoming. So yeah… just fine.

My husband and i visited the area for a wedding. This was our first time using a bnb also. The propeery outside was very private and quite. The landscape was beautiful and so peaceful. It felt like your own secret garden. Inside was cozy and accommodating. Perfect weekend getaway!!

Very nice accommodations for a single (or a couple). Not a ton of space, but a full kitchen, TV-watching sofa, bathroom and bedroom, with lots of natural light and a shared garden and BBQ grill in the backyard. A whole lot more comfortable and nice than a hotel room.

The place was humble and quiet, just like us. We were busy with family activities and college graduation so we were out and about most of the time. It was very nice to come home to, away from vacation shenanigans. Very well appointed, clean and quiet for peaceful sleep.

The entire experience was excellent from start to finish. Beautiful backyard garden offered a perfect spot to sit in the sunshine and read with the scent of lilac in the air. Check-in was easy and Maggie was available to answer any questions. We would return in a heartbeat.

We arrived and had no problems getting in. The outside area and garden were charming. Inside was clean and we had everything needed to cook meals and the bathroom is stocked with nice amenities, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Our interaction with the owner/host was very nice. My mom and I would definitely stay here again.

The cottage was a great place for some weekend crafting with friends. Lots of space to spread out and the covered patio was perfect for painting. Maggie our host, was so nice and helpful with information on the surrounding area. A quaint cottage with a peaceful garden in a quiet neighborhood.

This charming casita is cozy, quiet, comfortable, and cute. Maggie, our host, had info on many things to do in the area. We totally enjoyed our stay here.

I had a wonderful time. I'm a pretty light sleeper, but slept through 7 hours each night, it was great! The place has everything you could need in a kitchen as well as a cute bathroom area and bedroom. All is pristinely clean and lovely with a calm, beautiful garden outside. Go north on Elm to Grand, hang a left, and you are on the beach in less than 10 minutes, not just any beach, Pismo Beach. : )

Great location re beaches and coast. Close to inland points of interest. Highly recommend this property.

We absolutely loved our stay at Arroyo Grande! The house was very clean and had a great atmosphere about it for us to relax and enjoy. We loved the garden and patio area. Nice rental, close to many places of interest in the central coast.

We LOVED this place, even our 4 year old was in love. The garden had butterflies flying through it! This guest house was private, close to the beach/pier and retail. The place was impecable and fully supplied with all we needed (even extra blankets and pillows) for our comfort. We can’t wait to be back here!!

Property was clean and exactly like in the advertisement

The location is a very cute little converted garage, right next to a nicely decorated backyard, as can be seen in the pics. The owner worked with us and allowed us to stay even though our toddler made the total count four instead of three. We had a great time, and I actually made a point of cleaning up to try to leave little for the cleaner to do, with thoughts of returning for another little getaway at some point. Then that night, I got an upset email from the owner saying that the cleaners had complained that we had left the place filthy and the dirtiest she had seen in three years of cleaning?!? She eventually sent me 8 pictures of what she called filthy. Seven were of a two square foot area of the counter and the floor just below it. We had noticed a small black stain on that part of the counter when we got there, and a few little grains of what looked like sand. I intentionally didn't touch that area except to use the paper towels. Apparently the spots were something like tar, maybe from the nearby beaches? So there were a couple black spots on the counter, and a couple grains of the black stuff on the ground, and a picture of the half empty trash and a box of plastic water bottles for recycling put neatly in the corner. The other picture was of a pile of three bath towels on the ground in the bathroom under the towel rack. So was I supposed to have refolded the dirty towels and put them back? Or scrubbed away the stains that had been there when I got there? Or thrown away all the trash and left it spotless so the cleaner I had to pay for didn't have to do anything? I spent two hours the last morning cleaning up the rental to make it easy for the cleaner, and the accusations and complaints left a very negative taste in my mouth after what had been a very enjoyable vacation. If we left the place in worse condition than anyone else in the years, then maybe I'm getting these rentals wrong. Are people expected to bring cleaning supplies and clean up the place before they leave so it's spotless and ready for the next clients, and then pay for cleaning on top of it? I actually found bits of dried food on about half the plates in the cupboard when we arrived, but didn't complain because I wanted to wash them anyway before using due to covid. Real good way to end what had been a very nice little vacation.

My small family of three stayed at this beautiful spot. When we arrived the little house was spotless. We really liked the fact that it was in a very clean and quite neighborhood. We saw many families out for a night stroll. Although people were out, it was extremely quiet. My son loved the secret garden and we very much enjoyed finding hidden art pieces here and there. It gave us the perfect vibes for vacation. We also enjoyed a night time dinner on the patio under lights that shined like starlight. The onwer was very kind and was very helpful. We will for sure be back soon. We have now found our new "scecret garden" vacation spot. Thank you so much!

It was perfect for me and my daughter. Loved having the full kitchen and was nicely stocked. Liked not having to use a key to get in.
