The location, it is near the center of the fishing village. That’s about it though.

When we arrived there were no sheets on the beds and the room and bathroom smelled bad. The bathroom was very damp and dirty. We had cockroaches, spiders and other bugs in the room. The room is dark and windows don’t close completely. The walls are not all properly mended, it feels more like a shack than a room.

Poor building quality with holes in walls. Bathroom without wash basin full of cockroaches. Thresh can was not emptied before my stay.

Quite good location, among the locals, so there's cheap food and everything. I booked the room for just 1 person, but there was no problem staying in 2 people, as there is additional mattrace. The price is quite cheap compared to other locations on an island.

The room is not located at the adress provided by the host. However we had no problem reaching the host by phone. Title picture does not correspond, the one showing the room does. There is absolutely nothing provided within the accomodation. No blankets, bed linen, towels, anything. We had to use our own sleeping bags. The water is cold, but it's most likely common on the island. However, the water in toilet is leaking constantly, we had to use a a tape to fix it temporarily. Morning prayer at the mosque starts at 5:45, and is VERY loud and takes about an hour or so. Not an issue of an apartment, but it's good to know so, since the room is situated very close. The price is quite cheap, but it seems that locals are making quite a fortune on tourism, so all the prices are generally much more than the corresponding quality. In the inland of Malaysia, you get MUCH more for the price.
