Had everything needed for what I was looking for, with a nice little lake to fish. I didn't spend much time at the property, but was conveniently located and owners were very pleasant. I will be back next time plan to be in that area.

Our recent stay at this property could be likened to wandering through an enchanted forest of charm and chaos. However, this artistic fervor occasionally blurred the line between quaint and questionable. From the whimsical wallpaper that seemed to tell tales of yesteryears to the furniture that looked rescued from a retro time capsule, the ambiance was a medley of bygone eras. Yet, as we delved deeper into this aesthetic rabbit hole, a snide chuckle escaped us at the peculiar choices made in the name of eccentricity. While the bed was a cloud of comfort, the bathroom presented a challenge, as if navigating through an abstract art installation. The kitchen, a battleground of culinary chaos, left us pondering the true purpose of some contraptions. One might argue it was avant-garde; others might say it was simply avant-odd. In conclusion, this property is a delightful puzzle for those who revel in the whimsy of unconventional living. It's a symphony of eclectic elements, but whether it resonates as a masterpiece or a cacophony depends on one's taste for the peculiar.

Great place to stay! We went hiking for several days and it is centrally located to all activities.

Host lives onsite. She was very prompt to respond to our questions. The property was very clean and organized with WiFi. The property was fully loaded and the bed was very comfortable. We will definitely stay again. Thank you Christie.

Christie was a very gracious and personable host. She went the extra step to make sure I was comfortable and safe during stormy weather. A Quiet and safe location.

I enjoyed meeting Christy and staying in the apartment attached to her home. The unit is nicely decorated with a pretty view of the lake. I am not always comfortable staying solo in a rental unit but Christy made me feel right at home.

Place was clean, well organized, with everything needed. Nice location - nice to walk through the neighborhood. Easy to get to the main roads as well. Would stay there again.

This place was in a great location for me to visit a friend in Casselberry. I traveled alone but this would have been a well-suited place for my partner and I to stay in. The kitchen had everything I needed to make meals, the layout of the space was great and stayed cool despite the very hot weather (95+ degrees F each day). Even though the place is connected to the main home, it felt very private and was quiet. Occasionally the homeowner's dogs would bark but nothing that inconvenienced me and Christie had warned me about it ahead of time when she called to make sure I had all the info I needed prior to check in. I would stay here again (and more than likely I will when I come back down to visit). I would highly recommend visiting Wekiwa Springs State Park if you have time! Very beautiful place with clear spring water for swimming, kayaking and canoeing. Lots of hiking options too!

Very charming & cozy place to stay while visiting family & friends. It had everything I needed including the view. The location was good & easy to find. I definitely would stay there again.

This was a lovely place to stay. I had to cut my stay a day short but that was only due to work issues. But I would def stay here again. Loved it!

Immaculately clean, warm and inviting. Quaint and comfortable 1 bedroom in a quiet area across a gorgeous lake. Had all the amenities you’d hope to expect, down to a jar full of Q-tips 😊. Hospitable owners who even offered an extended check out to ensure we didn’t rush our departure

This worked out very well for my daughter and I. We were visiting a friend at Full Sail. It is about 20 minutes away, but I couldn't find anything closer that would meet our needs. Kitchen had just about everything we needed for cooking. Dishwasher was a huge plus as well as washer and dryer. Has kitchen with living/dining space. Bedroom worked out well. Note there is no door to close off living room/kitchen/dining area from bedroom. The bathroom did have a door and worked out well. It is a little narrow, but we did not have any issues. Parking is a little tight, but we didn't have any problems. We were able to come and go as needed and didn't necessarily interact with homeowner, which was great by us. Lake across street. Note that it is a long hike to go around the lake. This worked out very well for us and we were pleased. I recommend and we would stay there again if needed. Property was clean and had all that we needed.

Bed originally was toohigh - I slept on couch until host family tookout a mattress; bathroom did not meet standards. Host family had work being done and very noisy! Never saw backyard.

This rental sufficed for the 4 day stay but next time we are in this area visiting friends, we will use a hotel. The place was sweet in the photos, but the actual details of staying there were challenging. A shower so small that elbows were hitting the walls, the owner's 2 dogs barking at early hours of the morning were an unwelcome surprise, the obvious musty smell made it seem as though it had been empty for months without AC running. The bed creaked with every movement, preventing a decent night's sleep. A few other things, but the owner assured me that she was going to take care of those for the next visitors. I don't want to give a glowing 5 star review when there were these concerns. This place has great potential with a bit of renovating and care. For what we got for the 4 days, we paid way too much. The per/night rate increased by $200 in extra fees. Hotels don't do that. I won't be renting this way again.

Place was convenient to get to in a neighborhood close to highways for a wedding we were attending about 20 minutes away in Winter Park. All instructions were laid out well in our welcome email a few days before we arrived. Place was just the right size and comfy for a couple. Great communication and follow-up from Christie answering a few minor questions.

The place was clean and uniquely decorated. Bed was comfortable. The lake is across the street (I thought it was in the backyard). The bathroom is a bit of a challenge (shower is pretty small and space around toilet is tight). Otherwise it was nice.

My stay at Christie's apartment in Altamonte was a dream stay. The apartment is adorable, decorated beautifully, and had everything I needed to be comfortable. I read for hours on their dock on the lake. The stay was peaceful and quiet and the location is easy access to anywhere in Orlando. I got to meet Christie and she was so friendly and pleasant. She went above and beyond to accommodate my trip schedule, even extending my stay by a night when she was not obligated in any way to do that. I was so very grateful! I would recommend this space to anyone looking to have one of the best rental stays you have ever had. Thank you, Christie and family!

Great little place for a get-away

This property was a great location for my husband and me to walk/hike in surrounding areas. Visits to Lake Apopka Wildlife Road, Weikiva Springs, Blue Springs, Harry Leu Botantical Gardens, and Lotus Park , just to name a few, were wonderful day trips. Winter Garden, the next town over was a great place to dine outdoors, people watch, shop, and visit a farmers market. Cranes Roost Park was perfectfor an after dinner stroll. Host family was receptive to any requests or concerns during our stay. Only suggestions would be to empty bureau or armoire to give week/longer guests room for unpacking. Also cutting board and bread knife woul be a great addition! Thanks for a nice stay.

The lake view is amazing. We enjoyed some fishing and paddle boarding. The host was great and responded very timely to any questions. Check-in process was easy.
